Wow..FX ‘Lights Out’..Again, left out..This show should NEVER have been scheduled for TUESDAYS in January.. Talk about swimming against the tide..rather than spend money on an extensive promotion campaign, they should have paid more attention to what it’s chances would be on the ONLY night of the week (this midseason especially) where the competiton is BRUTAL..I never even heard of ‘The Game’ and it broke all records for BET, in the name of God I ask TeenMom2 highest rated show last week?, and any ‘Real Housewives’ regardless of where they”live” is a given..OK to be clear, the latter two I would not expect to see those viewers watching ‘Lights Out’, but ‘White Collar’ Southland’ and ‘The Game’ are at least 3 cable shows they should have known were going to take potential viewers off the table (I’m not even discussing the broadcast shows in this post). I’m not a ‘Marketing Expert’, but a show like ‘Lights, with a niche audience to begin with, it should have been a no brainer it couldn’t possibly be expected to get the viewership it well deserves, and IMHO, would BE getting on a different night and a later in the season premiere..
