This year has proven to be better than the last few years due to the pandemic; and while we can all take a sigh of relief for that blessing, we still need to take care in spending time with friends and family this Thanksgiving.

That fact, however, doesn’t negate our need to cherish that time with the people we care about most.

Please be safe over the Thanksgiving weekend. Enjoy your in-person visits with friends and family, take time to call or video chat with anyone who you will not see in-person; have a virtual dinner with them through Zoom or Facetime; share food with your neighbors and be thankful for what you have.

I want to wish all my readers a very safe and Happy Thanksgiving!!

Merry Christmas 2021!!!

Much like last year, the world has gone through another difficult year because of the Coronavirus pandemic. It is my hope that this holiday season, while you gather together with friends and family, that you do so carefully.

I know we are all tired of wearing masks, social distancing, travel restrictions and the like; but these practices are an important way to show that you care about those you come in contact with every day.

Please enjoy your holiday – no matter how you are spending the day – and thank you SO VERY MUCH for visiting Rueben’s Ramblings (it’s been 11 years now!).

Have a blessed and wonderful Christmas Day, and I hope you will continue to visit as often as you can!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Happy New Year 2021!!

With midnight only a few moments away, I want to wish all of you a very Happy New Year.

I hope you enjoyed your holiday celebrations SAFELY and that will have a great time today and throughout the first week of the New Year.

Please make sure to be cautious, following health mandates of social distancing, washing your hands, not gathering with others outside of your home and wearing your mask when you do leave home.

Enjoy the holiday safely!

Merry Christmas 2020!!!

Yes, this year has been extremely difficult for all of us because of the Coronavirus pandemic; and all of us (I sure hope ALL of us!) will not be celebrating the holiday as we normally do, staying safe at home without gathering with family or those outside of the home, wearing our masks when we are out, social distancing as much as possible and washing our hands.

It’s a mantra we’ve all gotten used to (albeit sick of practicing), but very necessary.

With that said, I do want to to wish everyone who has visited this site for the past 10 years a very blessed and wonderful Christmas Day!

Please stay safe, and celebrate quietly at home.

And, thank you SO VERY MUCH for visiting Rueben’s Ramblings and I hope you will continue to visit as often as you can!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Happy Fourth of July Everyone!

I wanted to take the time to wish all of the readers here at Rueben’s Ramblings a very Happy Fourth of July.

This year is going to be very different (obviously) because of COVID-19. We can’t go to the movies like we normally would; BBQ’s, picnics and shopping are done at a distance or in very small groups. We have to take precautions to keep ourselves and others safe; but if you’re gonna celebrate, please be careful and enjoy the day as best you can.

Enjoy the holiday safely!

Happy Thanksgiving

I wanted to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving and I hope you enjoy the time with your friends and family over this long holiday weekend.

Please know that while I am obviously observing the holiday, the news waits for no man or woman, which means I will be posting occasionally over the weekend, bringing ratings results as soon as possible and other news items that come along over the next 4 days.

Please stay tuned and I hope you will visit as often as you can over the holiday.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

The holiday special Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: A Midwinter’s Tale will debut on Netflix on December 14.

Set during the Church of Night’s celebration of the winter solstice, the longest night of the year, when families gather around the Yule fire to sing pagan carols and tell ghost stories. The holidays are also a time for guests and visitors — both welcome and unwelcome — and you never know who’ll drop down the chimney.

Kiernan Shipka, Miranda Otto, Lucy Davis, Ross Lynch, Michelle Gomez, Chance Perdomo, Jaz Sinclair, Tati Gabrielle, Adeline Rudolph, Abigail Cowen and Lachlan Watson are all set to appear.

Here is a trailer for Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: A Midwinter’s Tale:
