It’s been a pretty typical week of summer programming on the major networks, mostly repeats and reality, however, one summer drama aired its season premiere and another summer drama aired a new episode.

Here is how those two Thursday night dramas fared in the overall ratings:

Based on information provided by the Box Office Mojo and some internet research, here are just some of the movies you can expect to see in the movie theatres in June:

Spider-Man: Homecoming
Opens: July 7

The film is set several months after the events of Captain America: Civil War. Peter Parker (Tom Holland), with the help of his mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.), tries to balance his life as an ordinary high school student in Queens, New York City while fighting crime as his superhero alter ego Spider-Man as a new threat, the Vulture, emerges. Marisa Tomei will play Aunt May and other cast members include Michael Keaton, Jon Favreau, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Tyne Daly, Logan Marshall-Green, Bokeen Woodbine, Hannibal Buress and Garcelle Beauvais.

Blind
Opens: July 14

A novelist blinded in a car crash which killed his wife rediscovers his passion for both life and writing when he embarks on an affair with the neglected wife of an indicted businessman. The film stars Alec Baldwin, Demi Moore and Dylan McDermott.

Lady MacBeth
Opens: July 14

Set in 19th century rural England, a young bride who has been sold into marriage to a middle-aged man discovers an unstoppable desire within herself as she enters into an affair with a worker on her estate. The cast includes newcomers Florence Pugh and Cosmo Jarvis.

War for the Planet of the Apes
Opens: July 14

Two years after the events of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Caesar (Andy Serkis) and his apes have been embroiled in a war against humans. As the ape population decreases, Caesar wrestles with his darker instincts in order to avenge his fallen companions. The encounter with the apes and humans puts them into the ultimate confrontation, to determine the fate of the Earth. Other actors playing apes include Steve Zahn, Judy Greer, Ty Olsson, Alessandro Juliani and Sara Canning; among the humans includes Woody Harrelson.

Dunkirk
Opens: July 21

Allied soldiers from Britain, Belgium, Canada and France are surrounded by the German Army on the beaches of Dunkirk and evacuated in Operation Dynamo between May 26 and June 4, 1940, during the early stages of the Second World War. The cast includes newcomers Fionn Whitehead and Tom Glynn-Carney, former One Direction member Harry Styles as well as established actors Kenneth Branagh, Cillian Murphy, Mark Rylance and Tom Hardy.

Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets
Opens: July 21

In the 28th century, Valerian (Dane DeHaan) and Laureline (Cara Delevingne) are special operatives charged with keeping order throughout the human territories. On assignment from the Minister of Defense, the two undertake a mission to Alpha, an ever-expanding metropolis where species from across the universe have converged over centuries to share knowledge, intelligence, and culture. At the center of Alpha is a mysterious dark force which threatens the peaceful existence of the City of a Thousand Planets, and Valerian and Laureline must race to identify the menace and safeguard not just Alpha, but the future of the universe. The film also stars Clive Owen, Rihanna, Ethan Hawke, John Goodman and Elizabeth Debicki.

Atomic Blonde
Opens: July 28

In 1989, on the eve of the collapse of the Berlin Wall and the shifting of superpower alliances, Lorraine Broughton (Charlize Theron), a top-level spy for MI6, is dispatched to Berlin to take down a ruthless espionage ring that has just killed an undercover agent for reasons unknown. She is ordered to cooperate with Berlin station chief David Percival (James McAvoy), and the two form an uneasy alliance, unleashing their full arsenal of skills in pursuing a threat that jeopardizes the West’s entire intelligence operation. The cast also includes John Goodman, Til Schweiger, Eddie Marsan, Sofia Boutella, Toby Jones and Bill Skarsgard.

Strange Weather
Opens: July 28

A poignant, lyrical drama about a mother (Holly Hunter), who, in an effort to deal with the grief over the death of her son, travels the back roads of the deep south to settle a score. The film also stars Carrie Coon (Fargo), Kim Coates (Sons of Anarchy) and the late Glenn Headly.

The Emoji Movie
Opens: July 28

This animated film centers on Gene (voiced by T.J. Miller), a multi-expressional emoji who lives in a phone when he sets out on a journey to become a normal meh emoji like his parents after causing a misconception emoji. Other voices will be provided by James Corden, Anna Faris, Maya Rudolph, Jake T. Austin, Christina Aguilera, Sofia Vergara, Patrick Stewart, Jennifer Coolidge, Steven Wright and Rob Riggle.

Here is a list of the programming options to expect on TV this coming week:

On June 27, the season finale of iZombie will air on The CW at 9 PM while that same night will find the series finale of Pretty Little Liars airing on Freeform at 8 PM.

The season premiere of Younger will air on June 28 at 10 PM on TV Land while the that same night the second season of Cleverman will premiere on SundanceTV at 10 PM and also that night the third and final season premiere of Broadchurch will air at 10 PM on BBC America.

On June 29, the CBS series Zoo will air its season premiere at 10 PM.

And lastly on June 30, the season premiere on Killjoys will air on Syfy at 8 PM.
