It was a full night of programming last night on the major networks with reality, news, football, repeats, a movie and animation with only two Sunday night dramas airing new episodes.

On December 4, the Lifetime holiday movie Too Close for Christmas will debut at 8 PM
When Hayley (Jessica Lowndes) accepts an invitation to spend Christmas with her sister’s new in-laws, her seemingly perfect holiday takes a turn when Luke (Chad Michael Murray), Hayley’s brother-in-law’s brother, unexpectedly shows up. Still harboring a grudge against Luke for ending her last relationship, Hayley reluctantly spends time with Luke and slowly realizes she may have been too quick a judge on Luke.

On December 4, the movie Mank will debut on Netflix.
The story centers on the life of Herman J. Mankiewicz (Gary Oldman) as he wrote Citizen Kane and the problems that arose with Orson Welles during production and leading up to the film’s release.
The cast includes Amanda Seyfried, Charles Dance, Lily Collins, Arliss Howard and Tuppence Middleton.

The comedy movie Godmothered will debut on Disney+ online on December 4.
This comedy, set at Christmas time, is about Eleanor, a young, inexperienced fairy godmother-in-training (Jillian Bell) who, upon hearing that her chosen profession is facing extinction, decides to show the world that people still need fairy godmothers. Finding a mislaid letter from a 10-year-old girl in distress, Eleanor tracks her down and discovers that the girl, Mackenzie, is now a 40-year-old single mom (Isla Fisher) working at a news station in Boston. Having lost her husband several years earlier, Mackenzie has all but given up on the idea of “Happily Ever After,” but Eleanor is bound and determined to give Mackenzie a happiness makeover, whether she likes it or not.
The cast includes Santiago Cabrera, Jane Curtin and June Squibb.

The new Hulu series The Hardy Boys, based on the classic story, will debut online on December 4.
After a family tragedy strikes, Frank Hardy (Rohan Campbell), 16, and his brother Joe (Alexander Elliot), 12, are forced to move from the big city to their parent’s hometown of Bridgeport for the summer.
Staying with their Aunt Trudy (Bea Santos), Frank and Joe’s quiet summer quickly comes to a halt when they discover their dad, detective Fenton Hardy (James Tupper) has taken on a secret investigation. Realizing that their Dad may be onto something the boys take it upon themselves to start an investigation of their own, and suddenly everyone in town is a suspect.

On December 4, the new series Selena, based on the legendary, late Tejano singer, will debut on Netflix.
As Mexican-American singer Selena Quintanilla (Christian Serratos) comes of age and realizes her dreams, she and her family make tough choices to hold on to love and music.
Her parents will be played by Ricardo Chavira and Seidy Lopez.

Here is the long list of the programming options to expect on TV this coming week:
On November 30, the Lifetime holiday movie The Christmas Listing will debut at 8 PM. Julia Rogers (Lexi Giovagnoli) is an uptight, hardworking realty owner who has lost her Christmas spirit. She will have to spend five days at a Christmas Inn with her business competitor, Chad Everest (Travis Burns), in order to win over the badly needed listing of the Erickson Farmstead. While competing to win the listing, Julia and Chad discover that they have more in common than they thought. Greg Evigan co-stars.
The second season finale of Coroner airs on The CW on December 2 at 9 PM; while the two-hour season premiere of SEAL Team will air that same night on CBS at 9 and 10 PM.
On December 3, the Australian streaming series The Commons will make its US and Canadian premiere on Sundance Now. Set in a gripping vision of a near future, the series stars Joanne Froggatt as Eadie, who just wants a normal life, but the world around her won’t let her have it. A brilliant, 38-year-old neuropsychologist, she longs to have a child with her vector biologist husband, Lloyd (David Lyons), but multiple unsuccessful IVF treatments have put her dreams of motherhood on hold. Meanwhile, the world around her is in chaos, as global warming and parasitic diseases have made the divide between rich and poor even greater. The show also stars Rupert Penry-Jones.
The box office movie Mulan will be available to all subscribers on Disney+ on December 4; meanwhile, the season premieres of MacGyver, Magnum P.I. and Blue Bloods will all air on CBS at 8, 9 and 10 PM respectively; and the season finale of Warrior will air on Cinemax at 10 PM.

Spotlight on Christmas on Lifetime at 8 PM. Dumped two weeks before Christmas, actress Olivia O’Hara (Tori Anderson) secretly returns to her tiny hometown to hide out, eat cookies and avoid the press. What she doesn’t expect is to be faced with the family she left behind, meeting a charming new guy, Casey Rawlins (Victor Zinck Jr.), and a noisy reporter following her every move. Completely overwhelmed, Olivia contemplates running away from her life once again but with a new found confidence and freedom, Olivia bravely steps up to take the starring role in her own life, realizing that home is where the heart is and that she deserves to be loved for exactly who she really is.
On December 5, the following movies will debut:
Christmas in Evergreen: Bells Are Ringing on the Hallmark Channel at 8 PM. The fourth movie in the franchise finds Michelle’s (Holly Robinson Peete) wedding approaching, and Hannah (Rukiya Bernard) stepping up to help finish the launch of the new Evergreen museum while questioning her relationship and future with Elliot (Antonio Cayonne). The cast includes Colin Lawrence and Barbara Niven.
Let’s Meet Again on Christmas Eve on Lifetime at 8 PM. When college sweethearts, Corinne (Kyla Pratt) and Rob (Brooks Darnell), get opportunities on opposite sides of the world, they decide to part ways and meet again in two years on Christmas Eve to see if they are really meant to be. However, when one shows up and the other doesn’t, the fate of their romance seems to have reached the end. Many years later the two end up bumping into one another when they are both hired to help bring together a Christmas Eve wedding. With many questions left unanswered, they are about to embark on a journey filled with romance and magic, just in time for Christmas Eve.
A Little Christmas Charm on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries at 10 PM. Holly (Ashley Greene), a jewelry designer finds a lost charm bracelet and teams up with investigative reporter Greg (Brendan Penny) in hopes of finding the owner and returning it by Christmas Eve.
On December 6, the season finale of Britannia will air on EPIX at 9 PM; while that same night a one-hour special presentation of Euphoria will air on HBO at 9 PM. The special episode, entitled “Trouble Don’t Last Always,” takes place in the aftermath of Rue (Zendaya) being left by Jules (Hunter Schafer) at the train station and relapsing and will follow the character as she celebrates Christmas.
The following movies will all debut on December 6:
Christmas Ever After on Lifetime at 8 PM. Popular romance novelist Izzi Simmons (Tony winner Ali Stroker) spends every Christmas at her favorite snowy bed & breakfast, but this year, she’s faced with an impending deadline and a severe case of writer’s block. Luckily, inspiration strikes in the unlikely form of the B&B’s new owner Matt (Daniel di Tomasso), who bears an uncanny resemblance to the handsome hero from Izzi’s novels. As both partake in the lodge’s annual itinerary of Christmas activities, Izzi’s writer’s block is cured and the first pages of her and Matt’s own love story may just be beginning.
Christmas She Wrote on the Hallmark Channel at 8 PM. When Kayleigh (Danica McKellar), a romance writer, has her column cancelled right before Christmas, she heads home to reconnect with her family. Kayleigh gets an unexpected visit from the man (Dylan Neal) who cancelled her column who fights not only to bring her back to the publisher but also for her heart.
Time For Us to Come Home for Christmas on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries at 10 PM. Five guests are mysteriously invited to an inn to celebrate Christmas. With the help of the owner Ben (Stephen Huszar), Sarah (Lacey Chabert) discovers that an event from the past may connect them and change their lives forever.
Christmas on the Range on UPtv at 7 PM. Kendall Riley (Erin Cahill) has only one holiday wish: to keep the family ranch solvent. Her rival’s charming son (Nicolas Gonzalez) offers help, and maybe more, but can he be trusted? The film also stars A Martinez and Lindsay Wagner.
Christmas Dilemma on TV One at 7 PM. The film follows newlywed couple Jay (BJ Britt) and Monica (Britanny Hall) as they struggle to decide which set of in-laws they should join for their first Christmas. After each pleads their case and even attempts a little trickery, they decide to bypass the guaranteed disappointment of picking one family over the other. Unbeknownst to them, the decision is made for them when their families show up at their home unexpectedly. Drama ensues as the in-laws clash, long-lost relatives decide to make an appearance, and Jay’s grandmother joins the holiday festivities accompanied by her caretaker who just happens to be Jay’s gorgeous ex-girlfriend. The cast includes Carl Anthony Payne II and Christopher B. Duncan.
Christmas Together on ION at 7 PM. A brokenhearted New York painter, Ava (Anna Marie Dobbins), and a West Coast widower, Mason (Mark Herrmann), have their lives collide when Mason’s young daughter, Mia, rents out his guest house to Ava for Christmas, without her dad’s knowledge, in an attempt to convince her dad she is responsible enough to earn a dog for Christmas. Vivica A. Fox also stars.
Lastly, also on December 6, the new Showtime limited series Your Honor will debut at 10 PM. Bryan Cranston stars as a judge confronting his convictions when his son is involved in a hit and run that embroils an organized crime family. He faces impossible choices and discovers how far a father will go to save his son’s life. The cast includes Carmen Ejogo, Hope Davis, Isaiah Whitlock, Jr., Lorraine Toussaint, Margo Martindale, Maura Tierney, Sofia Black-D’Elia and Tony Curran.

Amazon has given a 6th and final season order to The Expanse. The show’s 5th season will premiere on Amazon on December 16. (TV Line)
Amazon has cancelled Gillian Flynn’s apocalyptic conspiracy thriller ‘Utopia’ after one season. (TV Line)
CASTING NEWS
Actor John Barrowman will be reprising his role of Captain Jack Harkness in the upcoming Doctor Who holiday special “Revolution of the Daleks. He will be “on hand to help ‘the fam’ as they discover a disturbing plan involving one of the Doctor’s most feared and dangerous enemies, the Daleks.” (TV Line)
Actress Marianne Jean-Baptise (Blindspot and Without a Trace) will join the cast of the third season of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan on Amazon. She will play Elizabeth Wright, the Chief of Station. (Deadline and The Futon Critic)
Actor Xavier de Guzman (the Netflix movie Operation Christmas Drop and The 100) has joined the cast of the Netflix series Maid, inspired by the best-selling memoir by Stephanie Land that centers on Alex (Margaret Qualley), a single mother who turned to housekeeping to make ends meet as she battles against poverty, homelessness and bureaucracy. The cast also includes Nick Robinson. (Deadline)
Actor Nic Bishop (Body of Proof) will guest star in an upcoming episode of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow where the show will riff on Dr. Strangelove, an homage to the dark 1964 feature comedy. In the episode: Nate (Nick Zano) and Zari (Tala Ashe) must infiltrate the Kennedy White House to stop Bishop’s warmongering General Kilgore from steering JFK to start WWIII when an alien begins wreaking havoc in Fidel Castro’s Cuba in 1962.
