Hey All,
Here are the news items for today:
TELEVISION
The planned fall finale of Bones that was to air on December 15 is now being moved to January 19 as a lead-in to the Bones spin-off The Finder, which will take over the Thursday night timeslot from Bones while the show goes on hiatus. (Nellie Andreeva at Deadline)
Lost alums Daniel Roebuck and Titus Welliver will both guest star on the new NBC drama Grimm. Welliver will play Farley Holt, a Grimm creature who has the ability to morph into a steinadler. Coolly unflappable, even when being interrogated by Nick (David Giuntoli), Farley explains to Nick the history behind a cache of gold coins that seem to exert an uncanny hold over whoever takes possession of them. Meanwhile, Daniel Roebuck will appear as Lt. Orson, an officer in the Portland arson division who is investigating a series of suspicious fires with links to Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell). (Michael Ausiello at TV Line)
DEVELOPMENT NEWS
Actress Sara Rue (Less Than Perfect, Eastwick and Popular) has landed a script deal for multi-camera comedy called Poseurs with The CW. The project centers on Lucy (Rue), a young woman whose life is upended when her fiancée moves out and her fresh-from-rehab collegiate best friend Alexandra moves in. In order to maintain her swanky New York co-op, which doesn’t technically allow for roommates, Lucy and Alex enter into a mutually beneficial domestic partnership – complete with all of the challenges and few of the perks. Rue will write the script and serve as a co-executive producer. (Lacey Rose at The Hollywood Reporter)
