Hey All,
It’s another slow news day, but here are the few items to share:
TELEVISION
Actress Rebecca Field (October Road) has joined the upcoming Lifetime drama A Client List as a series regular. She will play Lacey, the best friend since high school of Riley (Jennifer Love Hewitt). (Nellie Andreeva at Deadline)
It has been confirmed: The companions’ time is almost up on Doctor Who. Word had leaked awhile back that Amy Pond (Karen Gillian) and Rory Williams (Arthur Darvill) would not be the Doctor’s companions, but it was just a matter of when this “official” split would take place. Amy and Rory will complete their time with the Doctor during the next new season which is set to air in the Fall of 2012. There is no word on whether River Song (Alex Kingston) – who was revealed to be the daughter of Amy and Rory – will also discontinue being a part of the series. (Film Thrasher)
Actress Alicia Silverstone will appear in the new ABC comedy Suburgatory for a multi-episode arc, reuniting with her former on-screen Clueless co-star Jeremy Sisto. She will play Eden, a possible love interest for Sisto’s character, George. (TV Line and TV Guide)

FX has given a pilot order a drama set in the early 1980s called The Americans. The series would center on the complex marriage between Phillip and Elizabeth Jennings, who work undercover for the Soviet Union during a time of heightened tensions in the Cold War, hiding their true identities even to their two children.
