TELEVISION

Actor Colin Hanks, who just appeared on Dexter, will guest star in an upcoming episode of Happy Endings; oddly (or not) enough he will play Colin Hanks, a new celebrity friend of Dave (Zachary Knighton). (Dan Snierson at Entertainment Weekly)

Actor Sebastian Stan (Captain America) will guest star in an episode of Once Upon a Time; but details are scarce on just who he will be playing. He is slated to appear in later March or early April. (Natalie Abrams at TV Guide)

Actress Frances Fisher (Titanic) will guest star in an episode of A Gifted Man, playing Blanche, the overbearing mother of a photographer pal of Dr. Michael Holt’s (Patrick Wilson). (Matt Mitovich at TV Line)

DEVELOPMENT NEWS

CBS has given a pilot order to a drama called Widow Detective that centers on a decorated police detective who, after losing three partners in the line of duty, becomes surrogate husband, lover and father to their families. (Nellie Andreeva at Deadline)
