The news is pretty light today, but here are the items:

TELEVISION

Broadway star Patti LuPone and actress Anna Chlumsky (My Girl) will both guest star in upcoming episodes of Army Wives. LuPone will reunite with her former Life Goes On co-star actress Kellie Martin, who will appear as Army Captain Nicole Galassin. LuPon will appear as a captain in the Army’s Intelligence Division. Chlumsky will play Jessica Anderson, an Army wife who faces major life changes after her husband is seriously injured in Afghanistan. (TV Fanatic)

Legendary actor William Daniels (St. Elsewhere and the voice of K.I.T.T. in the 80’s classic series Knight Rider) will play one of the doctors overseeing the medical boards being taken by the Seattle Grace residents on Grey’s Anatomy. (Vlada Gelman and Matt Mitovich at TV Line)

The music network VH1 has greenlit is first hour-long script pilot called Bounce that will star newcomer Taylour Paige, Dean Cain (Lois & Clark) and Kimberly Elise (Close to Home) in a story set in the world of professional basketball dancers. At its heart is Ahsha (Paige), a sheltered young woman who joins the squad against the wishes of her mother Sloane (Elise), who knows this treacherous, tempting world all too well having been a dancer herself.
