Hey All,
Here are the news items, few though they may be, for today:
TELEVISION
FOX picks up their low-rated, but much-beloved sci-fi series Fringe for a 13-episode fifth and final season. (Twitter)
It’s been confirmed that Big Love actress Chloe Sevigny will indeed appear in the second season of American Horror Story, playing Shelly the Nymphomaniac, a bitter rival of the new character to be played by returning cast member Jessica Lange. (The Wrap)
BOX OFFICE TRAILER
Watch: Elizabeth Olsen in the ‘Peace, Love & Misunderstanding’ Trailer
NOTE: Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Chace Crawford are in this movie along with Jane Fonda, Catherine Keener and Elizabeth Olson. I have NEVER been a fan of Fonda, but I’ll be there for Morgan ANY DAY!
BOX OFFICE NEWS
Actress Rooney Mara (The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo) is replacing actress Carey Mulligan (An Education) in the upcoming film Brooklyn, which is an adaptation of the Colm Toibin novel of the same name. She will play a young woman torn between her family in Ireland and the American who wins her heart. The film will be a period piece set in the 1950s. (The Hollywood Reporter and First Showing)
That’s it. Enjoy!
Have a terrific weekend!
