Yes, you read that title right. The real castle in England, known as Highclere Castle, used for the massively successful mini-series Downton Abbey is going to be open to visitors!!
The castle made famous by the PBS juggernaut has been open to the public on certain days and for certain events in the past, but starting on July 1, it will be open to the public every Sunday through Thursday.
You can learn more about Highclere Castle and the public tours, which allow access to the garden and certain rooms of the castle at their official website.
Of course, you have to travel to Newbury in Berkshire County, England in order to take in the grandeur of Highclere Castle, but it just might be money well spent if you are a Downton Abbey fan. The ticket cost is £16.00 (about $24).
