Sports seemed to own the night on TV last night, but there were still a few viewing options in the drama department.

Here is how the major network dramas fared in the overall ratings:

8 PM Show:
Once Upon a Time (ABC) [NEW] – 9.7 million

9 PM Show:
Revenge (ABC) [NEW] – 8.6 million

10 PM Show:
The Good Wife (CBS) [NEW] – 10 million (Delayed)

NOTE: It seems The Mentalist did not air last night due to the delay on CBS caused by football. None of the ratings sources for which I use to compile these ratings reports are showing that the show even aired. For shame!

What did you watch last night? Please share.

DEVELOPMENT NEWS

ABC has bought a cop drama called The Defectives from Manny Coto (writer and executive producer on Dexter). The project revolves around a female internal affairs investigator who is tasked with rebuilding the LAPD’s special detective unit after she spearheads the probe into a corruption scandal that ultimately brings the department to its knees. Denied financial and internal support, she recruits a team of overlooked detectives, flawed cops and ignored analysts — all of whom possess unique skills. The talented oddballs must work together to overcome the forces working against them while solving crimes on a weekly basis. (Lesley Goldberg at The Hollywood Reporter)

The CW has bought a medical drama pilot from producer Jerry Bruckheimer and writer Sascha Penn called House Calls that will be set in Boston, following three idiosyncratic young doctors who have set up a 24-hour house call business. (Nellie Andreeva at Deadline)

Q&A SECTION (with Team Watch with Kristin at E! Online)

Question: Wanting Revenge scoop with a vengeance, please!!! – Katie C.

Team Watch with Kristin: Christa B. Allen tells us that Emily’s plan is about to go global! “I can tease that Emily [will be] getting involved with people from around the world,” she says. “You see people getting involved with her revenge plot that you never would have expected. Lots of new people coming onto the scene.” New faces means new drama, and we love it!

Question: Elementary is my new favorite show! Got any scoop on what’s coming up? – Christine

Team Watch with Kristin: We’ve heard plenty about Sherlock’s father, but now it’s time to learn about Watson’s family. The show will be introducing Mary, her elegant mother, later this season and let’s just say she’s not a fan of her daughter’s new gig. In fact, she called her a glorified babysitter. Of course, if there’s anyone who can charm Mary into changing her opinion, it’s Sherlock.

That’s it. Enjoy!

Have a fantastic weekend!
