Here is a list of the new programming options to expect on TV this week:
The Canadian series King, which ran for two seasons, will make its U.S. debut on Reelz Channel on July 5 at 10 PM. Homicide Detective Jessica King (Amy Price-Francis from The Cleaner) is a charismatic but unconventional cop whose unique eye for detail turns cases around. She is the lead investigator of Toronto’s Major Crimes Task Force, the unit that handles the most volatile and challenging cases on the streets. Colleagues may resent her but King’s fierce intelligence, passion for her job, disarming honesty and wicked sense of humor overrides their doubts.
That same night, two of the final four episodes of the defunct CW series Cult will air back-to-back from 8 PM to 10 PM.
On July 7, the PBS Masterpiece Mystery made-for-TV mini-series Endeavour will debut at 9 PM. In the premiere episode called “Girls”, Detective Constable Endeavour Morse (Shaun Evans) and DI Thursday (Roger Allam) investigate burgled gas meters, the sudden death of a young secretarial student and a string of post office robberies, confounding the solution to a pair of violent murders.
Mark your calendars!
