TELEVISION

Lifetime has renewed the new drama Witches of East End for a 13-episode second season that will air sometime in 2014. (Whitney Friedlander at Variety)

Actor Christopher Gorham (Covert Affairs) will guest star in an upcoming episode of Once Upon a Time, playing an “important character in the life of Emma Swan”. It is also set that he may reprise this role in the future. (Entertainment Weekly and TV Guide)

Actor Jack Davenport (Smash) will appear in an upcoming episode of The Good Wife, playing an upstanding assistant U.S. attorney. (Lynette Rice at Entertainment Weekly)

A&E has renewed the new drama Longmire for a third season that is set to air sometime next summer. (Matt Mitovich at TV Line)

DEVELOPMENT NEWS

Actresses Jessica Szhor (Gossip Girl), Beth Riesgraf (Leverage) and Lauren Stamile (Burn Notice) will co-star alongside actor Jason O’Mara (Terra Nova and Vegas) in the USA Network drama pilot Complications that will center on John Ellis (O’Mara), a disillusioned suburban ER doctor who finds his existence transformed when he intervenes in a drive-by shooting, saving a young boy’s life and killing one of his attackers. When he learns the boy is still marked for death, he finds himself compelled to save him at any cost, and discovers that his life and his outlook on medicine may never be the same. Szhor will play Gretchen, an ER nurse at the hospital while Riesgraf will play Samantha Ellis, John Ellis’ wife. Stamile will play Bridget, an excellent doctor who tends to take out her frustration with life in the ER on patients and colleagues. (Nellie Andreeva at Deadline)

Cinemax has given a pilot order to a drama project called Blanco with actor Shiloh Fernandez (Red Riding Hood) in the lead role. The story will center on Ruben (Fernandez), an uptown gangster, nicknamed Blanco for being a light-skinned Dominican, who uses his status as a confidential informant to turn the tables on law enforcement and build his criminal empire. (Nellie Andreeva at Deadline)

Actress Katherine LaNasa (Deception and Longmire) will co-star in the as-yet-titled Sean Jablonski-USA Network pilot that will follow investment banker Neil Truman (Matt Passmore from The Glades) and his wife, Grace (Stephanie Szostak), as they struggle to sift through their stagnant marriage, looking for the spark they once had. When Neil discovers that Grace has been seeing a debonair male escort (Blair Redford) his entire world is turned upside down. No word, as yet, on what part LaNasa will play, though. (Nellie Andreeva at Deadline)

AMC has given pilot orders to two projects that will be under consideration for series for 2015. The first is Knifeman, which is inspired by the biography “The Knife Man: Blood, Body Snatching And The Birth of Modern Surgery,” about John Hunter by Wendy Moore. It will be set in 18th Century London, telling the story of a charming, arrogant, decorum-breaking genius who challenges societal norms to transform his visions into cutting-edge discoveries. The second is Galyntine, which will be rooted in a both fantasy/action adventure and science-fiction. Similar to the NBC apocalyptic series Revolution, this pilot will take place at a time after a cataclysmic technology-induced disaster has resulted in a new society that has eschewed any form of technology. This catastrophic event leaves small numbers of survivors scattered around the planet and forced to adapt to isolation and unique challenges. (Nellie Andreeva at Deadline)

Actor David Alpay (The Vampire Diaries) has joined the cast of the Lifetime dystopian-future drama pilot The Lottery that is set in a world where women have stopped having children, threatening extinction of the human race. When 100 embryos are successfully fertilized by Dr. Alison Scott (Marley Shelton), a national lottery is held to decide the surrogates. Alpay will play James, Alison’s colleague and current lab assistant. (Nellie Andreeva at Deadline)

Q&A SECTION (with TV Scoop Team at E! Online)

Question: I saw you guys were on the Teen Wolf set. In desperate need of scoop! – Jackie

TV Scoop Team: Someone will be on the brink of death throughout the majority of season 3B! Relax, take a deep breath and find comfort in the fact that Holland Roden tells us Lydia has barely screamed this season, which is good considering her Banshee power is being able to sense impending death.

Question: Gimme anything you’ve got for Hart of Dixie! – McKenna

TV Scoop Team: Grab a fan because it’s about to get super hot in Bluebell—and no, we’re not talking about the weather. Prepare to meet Enrique, a devastatingly attractive poet who is charming, passionate, and incredibly romantic. We’ll be seeing quite a bit of Enrique later this season when he tries to win the heart of [Spoiler!] Did you think we would actually reveal the lucky lady? Trust us, you’ll definitely want to be surprised for this one.

Question: Revenge is killing it this season! Can you give me some spoilers to feed my frenzy? – Lindsey

TV Scoop Team: Brace yourselves, Hamptonites because we’re about to get two major blasts from the Grayson family’s past. We all know that Conrad was married once before Victoria—but did you know that we’ll be meeting her very soon? Well, no you didn’t, but we’ll fill you in! Stevie is a gorgeous gal who is just as posh as Victoria, except she hails from the super sunny west coast so she’ll have much better tan. She’ll appear unexpectedly in episode 13. Joining her in the same episode is Jimmy Brennan, Patrick’s handsome and rugged biological father. Yikes! Things are about to really heat up in the Grayson household.

Question: Thank you so much for all your Pretty Little Liars scoop! Do you have any more? – Natasha

TV Scoop Team: We chatted with the always incredible, Trioan Bellisario, at the annual Pretty Little Liars Halloween bash and we’ve been saving this special spoiler just for you! The pretty little star exclusively told us that we’re going to be learning a lot more about Spencer when season four returns in January. “What you’re going to see in 4b is a very, very interesting secret that you never knew, that we never talked about with Spencer.” the actress explains, “It really, really affects her relationship with Toby and with the girls, and it reveals a lot about why she wasn’t passed out with the other girls the night that Alison died. I’m so excited we’re finally getting into that, because I’ve been waiting for seasons to get into that.”

That’s it. Enjoy!
