Now that November is over (we only have one more month, can you believe it?) so it’s time to go over the cable ratings for month on both cable series, made-for-TV movies and mini-series:
Those ratings are all listed below:
CABLE SHOWS
MONDAYS:
Major Crimes – The TNT series returned with its mid-season premiere on November 25, earning 3.7 million viewers. A new episode of Major Crimes aired on December 2 with the next new episode set to air on TNT on December 9 at 9 PM.
TUESDAYS:
Sons of Anarchy – The long-running FX drama aired three new episodes of its current, sixth season during November. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
November 5 – 4.5 million
November 12 – 4.4 million
November 19 – 4.2 million
This averages out to 4.4 million viewers for November. A new episode of Sons of Anarchy aired on FX on December 3 with the season finale set to air at 10 PM on Tuesday, December 10
Ravenswood – The new ABC Family spin-off from Pretty Little Liars aired three more episodes of its debut season, including its mid-season finale, during November. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
November 5 – 1 million
November 12 – 1.1 million
November 19 – 1.1 million (Mid-Season Finale)
This averages out to 1.1 million viewers for November. The next new episode of Ravenswood will air on ABC Family on Tuesday, January 7 at 9 PM.
WEDNESDAYS:
American Horror Story: Coven – The FX horror show returned aired three new episodes of its current season during November. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
November 6 – 3.8 million
November 13 – 4.2 million
November 20 – 4 million
This averages out to 4 million viewers for November. A new episode of American Horror Story: Coven aired on FX on December 4 with the next new episode set to air on Wednesday, December 11 at 10 PM.
The new DirecTV series Full Circle aired the final two episodes of its 10-part run on November 6, but ratings could not be tracked down for any of these parts.
THURSDAY:
White Collar – The long-running USA Network aired three new episodes of its current season during November. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
November 7 – 2.2 million
November 14 – 2.2 million
November 21 – 2.5 million
This averages out to 2.3 million viewers for November. A new episode of White Collar aired on the USA Network on December 5 with the next new episode set to air on Thursday, December 12 at 9 PM.
Covert Affairs – The spy drama aired the final three episodes of its current season during November. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
November 7 – 1.6 million
November 14 – 1.8 million
November 21 – 2.3 million (Season Finale)
This averages out to 1.9 million viewers for November. Covert Affairs is expected to return sometime next year with an all new season on the USA Network.
FRIDAYS:
Strike Back: Origins – The Cinemax espionage series that started off the franchise was aired starting on October 25 with the remaining five episodes airing in November. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
October 25 – 259,000 viewers (Premiere)
November 1 – 281,000 viewers
November 8 – 253,000 viewers
November 15 – 147,000 viewers
November 22 – 52,000 viewers
November 29 – No numbers could be tracked down (Finale)
This averages out to 199,000 viewers for November.
Haven – The Syfy series aired another four new episodes of its current season during November. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
November 1 – 1.3 million
November 8 – 1.7 million
November 15 – 1.6 million
November 22 – 1.5 million
This averages out to 1.5 million viewers for November. The first part of Haven’s two-part season finale aired on Syfy on December 6 with the conclusion set to air on Friday, December 13 at 10 PM.
Cracked – This new Canadian series aired its final two episodes back-to-back on November 1, but, again, ratings could not be tracked down for either of those airings.
SATURDAYS:
Atlantis – The new BBC America period-piece drama debuted on November 23 and aired two episodes during November. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
November 23 – 838,000 viewers
November 30 – 291,000 viewers
This averages out to 565,000 viewers for November. The next new episode of Atlantis will air on BBC America on Saturday, December 7 at 9 PM.
NOTE: The BBC renewed Atlantis for a second season after airing only one episode.
SUNDAYS:
Boardwalk Empire – The HBO period drama aired the final four new episodes of its current season during November. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
November 3 – 1.9 million
November 10 – 2.1 million
November 17 – 2 million
November 24 – 2.2 million (Season Finale)
This averages out to 2.1 million viewers for November. Boardwalk Empire was renewed for a fifth season by HBO and will be back sometime in 2014.
Witches of East End – The new supernatural drama aired four more episodes of its debut season on Lifetime during November. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
November 3 – 1.6 million
November 10 – 1.5 million
November 17 – 1.6 million
November 24 – 1.5 million
This averages out to 1.6 million viewers for November. A new episode of Witches of East End aired on Lifetime on December 1 with the season finale set to air on Sunday, December 15 at 10 PM.
Drop Dead Diva – The Lifetime drama aired its season finale on November 3, earning 1.8 million viewers. The series will return to Lifetime for a sixth season sometime in 2014.
Homeland – The Showtime drama aired four new episode of its current season during November. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
November 3 – 2 million
November 10 – 1.9 million
November 17 – 1.8 million
November 24 – 1.9 million
This averages out to 1.9 million viewers for November. A new episode of the current season of Homeland aired on HBO on December 1 with the next new episode set to air on Sunday, December 8 at 9 PM.
Masters of Sex – The period piece drama aired four more new episodes of its debut season during November. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
November 3 – No ratings could be tracked down
November 10 – 1.1 million
November 17 – 1.1 million
November 24 – 1.1 million
This averages out to approximately 1.1 million viewers for November. A new episode of the current season of Masters of Sex aired on HBO on December 1 with the next new episode set to air on Sunday, December 8 at 10 PM.
The Walking Dead – The AMC zombiefest aired four new episodes of its current season during November as well as its mid-season finale at the beginning of December. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
November 3 – 13.3 million
November 10 – 12.2 million
November 17 – 12 million
November 24 – 11.3 million
December 1 – 12.1 million (Mid-Season Finale)
This averages out to 12.2 million viewers for November. The Walking Dead will return to AMC for the rest of its current season starting on February 9 at 9 PM.
MADE-FOR-TV MOVIES AND MINI-SERIES
