TELEVISION

Actress Romy Rosemont (Glee – she plays Finn’s mom) has landed a recurring role on the new ABC Family drama The Fosters, playing Amanda, the quirky and sometimes challenging mother of Mariana’s (series regular Cierra Ramirez) new friend (and potential love interest) Zac (guest star Julian De La Celle). Rosemont will be a recurring guest star season making her debut in on Monday, March 3. The Fosters returns for the rest of its debut season on January 13. (Leanne Aguilera at E! Online)

Actor Dylan Bruno (Numb3rs) will guest star in an upcoming February episode of NCIS: Los Angeles, playing Robert Brown, a former Army intelligence officer who also worked for a private contractor in Afghanistan. (Liz Raftery at TV Guide)

Actress Judy Davis (Life with Judy Garland) will have a recurring role in the 12-episode FOX event series 24: Live Another Day, playing a fierce German arms dealer named Margo. The limited series is set to air in the spring. (Michael Ausiello at TV Line)

DEVELOPMENT NEWS

Actor Michael Rapaport (Prison Break and The Mob Doctor) has joined the cast of the TNT drama project called Public Morals that will be set in 1967 in New York where cops walk the line between morality and criminality as the temptations that come from dealing with all kinds of vice can get the better of them. It centers on cop Terry Muldoon (Ed Burns), who knows the line between the good guys and bad guys is thin, and he is determined to raise his sons to be honest and hardworking as he deals with the dark underbelly of the vice world. Rapaport will play Muldoon’s partner Charlie Bullman, the muscle of the operation. (Nellie Andreeva at Deadline)

Actor Paul Rudd (Anchorman franchise) will star in the title role in the planned Marvel film Ant-Man. (Mike Fleming, Jr. at Deadline)
