Last night was the final night of fall TV for the major networks with the last of the fall finales airing and after two days of no new programming (on Wednesday and Thursday), it was nice to have something new to watch.
Fair warning, though: the next two weeks will be rather dry in terms of new programming because of the holidays. But TV will get back to normal starting on January 2.
Here is how the Friday night shows that aired new episodes fared in the overall ratings last night:
8 PM Show:
The Carrie Diaries (The CW) [NEW – Fall Finale] – 870,000 viewers
9 PM Shows:
Hawaii Five-0 (CBS) [NEW – Fall Finale] – 9.4 million
Nikita (The CW) [NEW – Penultimate Episode] – 740,000 viewers
10 PM Show:
Blue Bloods (CBS) [NEW – Fall Finale] – 10.2 million
