Revenge Graphic Novel

The ABC prime-time soap opera Revenge will be back on the air on ABC with new episodes from its third season starting on March 9, but that won’t be the only Revenge story that fans of the series will get to see this year.

Marvel will be publishing a 112-page graphic novel called “Revenge: The Secret Origin of Emily Thorne” on September 3, that will follow a young Amanda Clarke – Emily’s real name – on her “first mission of revenge,” as she infiltrates high society in Switzerland to uncover information about her past and deal with “a surprising enemy with ties to the same people who destroyed her life”.

The graphic novel will be co-written by one of the show’s writers, Ted Sullivan, and Erica Schultz. The art work in the book will be done by Vincenzo Balzano.

Here is a list of the programming options to expect on TV this week:

The new CW drama series Star Crossed will debut on February 17 at 8 PM. The series focuses on teenager Emery (Aimee Teegarden from Friday Night Lights), who when she was 6 years old, an alien spacecraft crash-landed in her small town. In the midst of the conflict with the Atrians, Roman, a 6-year-old Atrian boy, found his way to a shed behind Emery’s house, where she protected him from harm, bringing him food, comfort and friendship. In their brief time together, Emery and Roman forged a deep bond, but the authorities wasted no time tracking Roman down and capturing him in a violent confrontation. Emery has grown up believing that Roman was killed that day. Ten years later, the Atrians have been acclimated to life on Earth, but they are interned in a heavily-guarded camp known as the Sector to keep them separate from humans. Now, for the first time, a group of Atrian teens will enroll in a suburban human high school, with the goal of testing the feasibility of human/alien integration. In the mayhem of the first day, Emery is amazed to learn that Roman (Matt Lanter from 90210 was not killed by the authorities and is, in fact, one of the Atrian students. Their childhood bond is quickly rekindled – in a school and a society that distrusts everything about the Atrians, Emery and Roman have found each other again. However, their relationship is threatened by the small-mindedness of their respective communities and the political agendas of people in power. The cast includes Grey Damon (The Secret Circle), Natalie Hall (Pretty Little Liars), Malese Jow (The Vampire Diaries) and Greg Finley (The Secret Life of the American Teenager).

On February 18, Killer Women will air its finale episode on ABC at 10 PM.
