While it hasn’t been confirmed by the USA Network, White Collar will probably be ending after its upcoming sixth season, which will consist of only six episodes. Meanwhile, the network has picked up two pilots to series. The first is Rush, a fast-paced Hollywood drama centered on Dr. William Rush (Tom Ellis), who is not your average on-call doctor. He is highly discreet no matter what the ailment, as long as the client can pay his cash-only premium, and the doctor can party with the best of them. He has no desire to change his life or how he lives it, until an old flame and his conscience begin to stir things up. The other is Complications, which centers on John Ellis (Jason O’Mara), a disillusioned suburban ER doctor who finds his existence transformed when he intervenes in a drive-by shooting, saving a young boy’s life and killing one of his attackers. When Ellis learns the boy is still marked for death, he finds himself compelled to save him at any cost and discovers that his own life, and his outlook on medicine, may never be the same. Both shows will have 10 episodes. The network also recently picked up two other dramas, the untitled drama that will star The Glades actor Matt Passmore and the upcoming event series Dig that will star Jason Isaacs and Anne Heche. Q&A SECTION (with TV Scoop Team at E! Online)
Question: Sleepy Hollow season two is so far away! Give me something to look forward to! – Miriam
TV Scoop Team: Another major first for Ichabod, our favorite fish-out-of-water! “Air travel, he’ll experience for the first time,” executive producer Len Wiseman teases. “Imagine Crane on a plane basically thinking it’s a massive truck. It’s got wheels, he doesn’t really know the thing actually picks up and takes off into the air. That’s something he will experience.”
Question: I’m addicted to Reign! Give me some scoop! – Ellie
TV Scoop Team: You think it’s crazy right now? Oh, just wait. “Think about the pace that things are moving at on just an average weekly basis, and then imagine the season finale,” Anna Popplewell previews. “It’s going to be enormous. So yeah, there’s plenty to look forward to, and fear and dread and all the rest of it.” But can we expect a death. Popplewell teases, “No one is safe in the castle, as you know. There are deaths almost every week, but I couldn’t possibly say who will or won’t survive.”
Question: Revenge, please and thank you. – Gayle
TV Scoop Team: The season finale, titled “Execution,” will see one of your favorites in prison and they’re not having a great time in the slammer. And there’s a trial. And a visit to the psych ward. And somebody’s dead. And that’s all we’ll tell you.
Question: Any Beauty and the Beast scoop to share with us Beasties?! – Aimee
TV Scoop Team: BATB is getting its Law & Order on as the mission to clear Vincent’s name is on. The police and our gang are both working on getting enough “evidence and witnesses” to prove their case, Austin Basis previews, adding that the case will “leads to almost an even more desperate problem…it’s almost like the to the starting gate for Vincent and Catherine, not in their relationship, but how are they going to live a normal life?”
That’s it. Enjoy!
