Here is a long list of all of the programming options to expect on TV this week:

Major Crimes will return for its third season on TNT at 9 PM followed by the debut of the new drama Murder in the First at 10 PM. The series follows homicide detectives Terry English (Taye Diggs from Private Practice) and Hildy Mulligan (Kathleen Robertson from Boss) as they investigate two seemingly unrelated murders. The mystery deepens, however, when they find both murders have a common denominator in a Silicon Valley wunderkind (Tom Felton from the Harry Potter franchise).

On June 10, Pretty Little Liars will be back for its fifth season on ABC Family at 8 PM followed by the series debut of Chasing Life at 9 PM. The series follows April (Italia Ricci from Unnatural History), a smart, twenty-something, aspiring journalist who tries to balance her ambitious career with her family, which includes her widowed mom, Sara (Mary Page Keller), rebellious little sister, Brenna (Haley Ramm), and her grandmother, Emma (Rebecca Schull) while keeping the secret that she has cancer. That same night, Royal Pains will return for its sixth season on the USA Network at 9 PM.

The season finale of new drama The 100 will air on The CW on June 11 at 9 PM; meanwhile, Suits and Graceland will both return for new seasons on the USA Network at 9 and 10 PM respectively.

A few nights later on June 14, the BBC America mini-series In the Flesh will air its season finale at 10 PM.

On June 15, the season finale of Game of Thrones will air on HBO at 9 PM. Elsewhere, the 2-part PBS Masterpiece Mystery The Escape Artist will also air that night at 9 PM, running 90 minutes. The mini stars David Tennant (Doctor Who) as a brilliant defense lawyer with a storybook family and a potent nickname, “The Escape Artist,” for his ability to spring the obviously guilty. Then he gets a trial that changes his life forever.

And, the Lifetime Movie Network movie My Daughter Must Live will also debut on June 15 at 8 PM. Katie O’Malley (Madeleine Martin from Californication) is a promising dancer. When she has trouble keeping up with the rest of the dance troupe during rehearsals for an upcoming competition, her mother, Meghan (Joelle Carter from Justified) suspects she might be using drugs. When her father, Stu (Paul Popowich from Cracked), finds Katie unconscious in her room, she is rushed to the hospital. The doctors determine that Katie’s liver is not functioning and without a partial liver transplant, she will die. Meghan, Stu and all of their close relatives agree to be tested as potential donors but no one qualifies. When Meghan questions how neither parent could be a match, she is told the blood tests reveal that Stu is not Katie’s biological father. Meghan pieces together the timeline of her pregnancy and realizes that the one night stand she had with her old boyfriend, Dan (Sergio Di Zio from Flashpoint), at a high school reunion when she was 22 (and engaged to Stu) means that Dan is Katie’s biological father. Meghan begins searching for him but he has disappeared. When she finally tracks Dan down, she discovers that he has moved away and changed his name. He agrees to be tested but when he turns up a match, he refuses to become a donor.

Mark your calendars!

TELEVISION

Actor Jeremy Sisto (Suburgatory) has joined the cast of the upcoming A&E drama The Returned, which is an adaptation of the French drama of the same name that focuses on a small town turned upside down when several local people who have been long presumed dead suddenly reappear, bringing with them both positive and detrimental consequences. Sisto will play Peter, a psychologist who runs a grief support group for people in the town who are struggling with the loss of loved ones from a bus accident four years earlier. (Nellie Andreeva at Deadline)

TV MINI-SERIES NEWS

Actor Kevin Ryan (Copper) will co-star in the upcoming History Channel Revolutionary War six-hour mini-series called Sons of Liberty that will follow a defiant and radical group of young men, including Sam Adams, John Adams, Paul Revere, John Hancock and Joseph Warren, as they band together in secrecy to change the course of history and make America a nation. Calling themselves the Sons of Liberty, they light the spark that ignited a revolution. Ryan will play British officer John Pitcairn, Gen. Thomas Gage’s (Marton Csokas) No. 2. The cast of this mini-series includes Ben Barnes (The Chronicles of Narnia franchise) as Sam Adams; Ryan Eggold (The Blacklist) as Warren, a doctor; Michael Raymond-James (Once Upon a Time) as Paul Revere; Henry Thomas (E.T.) as John Adams and Dean Norris (Under the Dome) as Benjamin Franklin. (Lesley Goldberg at The Hollywood Reporter)

Actor Michael Gambon (the Harry Potter franchise) will star in the HBO/BBC 3-part mini-series The Casual Vacancy, which is based on the J.K. Rowling novel of the same name that centers on Pagford, a seemingly idyllic English village with a cobbled market square and ancient abbey. But, behind the pretty façade is a town at war: rich vs. poor, teenagers vs. parents, wives vs. husbands, teachers vs. pupils. Gambon will play Howard Mollison, owner of the Pagford delicatessen. (Nellie Andreeva at Deadline)

ONLINE SERIES NEWS

Actor Pedro Pascal (Game of Thrones and Graceland) will star in the Netflix drama called Narcos that tells the story about Columbian drug kingpin Pablo Escobar and the DEA agent (Pascal) who hunted him down. Netflix has placed an initial order of 10 episodes for this web series. (Variety Staff)

Q&A SECTION (with Matt Mitovich from TV Line)

Question: After all the build-up of Once Upon a Time‘s Regina and Robin being soul mates, please tell me that we aren’t all of the sudden going to find out that the lion tattoo is really common and Robin really wasn’t the man in the pub. –Megan

Mitovich: I’ve seen that “theory” floating around, yeah, but Once co-creator Adam Horowitz shot an arrow right through it when I ran it by him. “No, no, no…. That [flashback scene] was not a misdirect,” he reassures. “The man Regina saw in the tavern with the tattoo was Robin Hood.”

Question: Give me anything on Teen Wolf to help tide me over until June 23! –Mary Kate

Mitovich: A member of Scott’s pack is about go missing in Season 4, and there’s only one man capable of tracking them down. The catch? That man doesn’t technically exist yet. MTV is currently casting the potentially recurring role of Dr. Vallack, a “distinguished” gentleman with a unique ability to “unlock the mystery of a disappearance.” In other words, this won’t be your typical vanishing act.

Question: I will take absolutely anything and everything you can get your hands on about Graceland Season 2, especially if it’s Charlie-related! –Sam

Mitovich: I just screened the season opener, which finds Mike returning to the house under extremely dangerous circumstances, in the midst of pursuing his dream job in D.C. Sadly, in his eyes, things at Graceland have changed, and not for the better. As for Charlie: There have been some developments with regards to her “thing” with Briggs, though as revealed in one scene, she appears distracted by a loose thread from Season 1.

Question: Season 4 of Falling Skies looks insane! We’ve been hearing about potential new aliens coming in. Anything you can tease? –Ganon

Mitovich: That premiere I watched earlier in the week, and the cold open is pretty damn b-a-n-a-n-a-s. One of the new aliens you’ve heard about may give George Lucas reason to phone his lawyers. (In other words, we’re gonna need a bigger can of Off!)

Question: Do you have anything on Hal and Lourdes from Falling Skies? I have been wanting them together since the beginning. –Breanna

Mitovich: Based on what happens in that b-a-n-a-n-a-s cold open, you’d be well advised to exhibit some patience. Because for one thing, when we next see her a few scenes later, Lourdes has… changed.

Question: Got any Orphan Is the New Black scoop? And by that I mean any Orphan Black or OITNB news. –Khaira

Mitovich: “Well, I binged all 13 episodes by 1 pm, and this is what happens….” So I’ll choose Door No. 2 tell you that if you think you know what Orphan star Tatiana Maslany is capable of, prepare to have your mind blown this Saturday — and see a lot of great Felix scenes as a result. Meanwhile, Alison and Donnie turning out to be more similar than they’d both like to admit may just be their blessing. As for our science geeks, Delphine will be on the outside looking in with Cosima after last week’s betrayal.

Question: Are we ever going to see the Major Crimes team together in a relaxed situation — a party or a dinner, for example, in a bar or at Sharon’s condo? –Giulia

Mitovich: Keep your eyes peeled for Season 3′s eighth episode, G, and you’ll get your wish! “After they solve the murder, everybody is hanging out in a happy setting at Sharon’s condo,” show boss James Duff shares, “and for a very good reason.”

Question: Is Anne Dudek set to reprise her role in Season 5 of Covert Affairs? – Mark

Mitovich: I can offer a firm maybe. I’m hearing that in the episodes broken to date, Annie’s sis has yet to resurface, though “there’s always the possibility” that she could be written into one of the later episodes.

Question: Can you give any spoilers on Hart of Dixie, please? –Carol

Mitovich: When the show returns at midseason, expect to meet Dr. Henry Dalton, a gentleman in his late 30s/early 40s who is not only handsome and charming but also one of the richest, most connected men in the South. Dalton is described as “the man that women want and men want to be… a walking Superman.” (Mr. Welling is 37, just sayin’!)

NOTE: That would be Tom Welling of Smallville fame for those who may not be completely aware as to whom Matt Mitovich is referring.

That’s it. Enjoy!
