Actor Tim DeKay (White Collar) will guest star in an upcoming episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., playing the older brother of former Agent Ward (series regular Brett Dalton) who is now Senator Maynard Ward. (Matt Mitovich at TV Line)
The USA Network has canceled their new drama Rush but has given a second season order for their new drama Satisfaction. The network has yet to announce the status of their other dramas: Graceland, Royal Pains and Covert Affairs. (Cynthia Littleton at Variety)
Actress Adina Porter (True Blood) will have a recurring role on The CW drama The 100, playing a “regal and experienced” Grounder warrior named Indra. The 100 is back on October 22. (Andy Swift at TV Line)
Actor Nicholas D’Agosto (Masters of Sex and Heroes) has landed a recurring role on the new FOX drama Gotham, playing Harvey Dent, the idealistic Assistant District Attorney destined to become the villainous Two-Face. (Andy Swift at TV Line)
Actor Gilles Marini (Switched at Birth and Brothers and Sisters) has been promoted to series regular on Devious Maids, which was just renewed for a third season by Lifetime. He plays Sebastien, the latest bedfellow of Carmen Luna (series regular Roselyn Sanchez), who promised her a meeting with a record executive who is actually his wife. (Andy Swift at TV Line)
Actor Bailey Chase (Longmire) will appear in a multi-episode arc on Chicago P.D., playing DEA Agent David Lang, who has been mentioned in passing for several episodes. (Nellie Andreeva at Deadline)
Actress Courtney Ford (True Blood) will have a recurring role in Revenge, playing Kate Taylor, an FBI agent assigned to investigate Conrad’s murder. (Michael Ausiello at TV Line)
Actress Elizabeth Perkins (Weeds) will guest star in an upcoming episode of How to Get Away with Murder, playing Marren Trudeau, a high-profiled client whom Annalise (series lead Viola Davis) will represent during an upcoming case-of-the-week. Also actress Sara Paxton (The Beautiful Life) will guest-star as a woman who works for Marren. (Natalie Abrams at Entertainment Weekly)
Actors Hugh Laurie (House) and Tom Hiddleston (Loki in the Thor films) are coming to TV in an espionage drama called The Night Manager, which is an adaptation of the John le Carre’s novel. The story follows Jonathan Pine, a British soldier turned luxurious hotel night auditor. Pine crosses paths with a French-Arab woman named Sophie with ties to Richard Onslow Roper, an English black marketer who specializes in weapons. The woman provides Pine with incriminating documents, which he forwards to a friend in British intelligence. After Sophie winds up dead, Pine works with intelligence operatives and goes undercover as part of a sting against Roper to avenge Sophie’s death. The studio behind the series is fielding multiple offers from U.S. networks, but an official home has yet to be announced. (Lesley Goldberg at The Hollywood Reporter)

Amazon has announced two more original pilots that will appear on Prime Instant Video next year as full series. The first is Hand of God will star Ron Perlman (Sons of Anarchy) as the honorable justice Pernell Harris, a hard-living, law-bending married man with a high-end call girl on the side, who suffers a mental breakdown and goes on a vigilante quest to find the rapist who tore his family apart. The cast includes Dana Delany (Body of Proof), Garret Dillahunt (Raising Hope), Alona Tal (Supernatural and Veronica Mars) and Julian Morris (Once Upon a Time and Pretty Little Liars). The second is Red Oaks, starring Craig Roberts (Submarine) as David Myers, an assistant tennis pro at the Red Oaks Country Club in suburban New Jersey in 1985. David, reeling from his father’s heart attack (played by Richard Kind from Luck) and conflicted about what college major to declare in the fall. The cast includes Paul Reiser (Mad About You), Jennifer Grey (Dirty Dancing) and Gage Golightly (Teen Wolf). (The Futon Critic)

Actors Richard Madden (Game of Thrones) and Idris Elba (Luthor) will co-star in the upcoming action-thriller flick Bastille Day that follows a rogue U.S. CIA operative who is tasked with interrogating and eventually making a young American man, who’s also a con-artist, “disappear” in order to avoid embarrassment to the U.S. government after the American is linked as the prime suspect to an attack on the Paris metro. After several more attacks, the operative realizes the young American is innocent and may be the only link to the person actually orchestrating the terrorist attacks. (Justin Kroll at Variety)
