Here is a list of all of the programming options to expect on TV this week:
The Originals will return for a new season on The CW on October 6 at 8 PM followed by a retrospective special for Supernatural at 9 PM.
On October 7, the season finale of Matador will air El Rey Network at 9 PM. And, over on The CW, The Flash will debut at 8 PM on The CW followed by the season premiere of Supernatural at 9 PM.
Then on October 8, Arrow will return for the start of its third season on The CW at 8 PM. Also that night, American Horror Story: Freak Show will premiere on FX at 10 PM. And, the 10-episode DirecTV drama Kingdom will debut that same night at 9 PM.
The Hallmark Channel movie Recipe for Love will debut on October 11 at 9 PM. When Lauren Hennessey is assigned to ghostwrite a cookbook for TV chef Dexter Duran, she uncovers that he is not the bad boy that he pretends to be for his fans. Lauren falls for Dexter and is able to convince him to show his roots, but the TV network has other plans and the two of them must work to save their jobs and their relationship. The cast includes Danielle Panabaker, Shawn Roberts, Pascale Hutton and Amos Mitchell.
Then on October 12, the UP Channel movie Match Made in Heaven will debut at 7 PM. Life would be perfect for Reverend Casey Hart (Samaire Armstrong from Resurrection) if it weren’t for her leaking baptistery and the match-making parishioners who steal money from the collection box and don’t believe a woman should be a minister. Not to mention Casey is flustered by the sudden, inconvenient feelings she has developed for her long-time friend, fellow seminarian and verbal sparring partner, Reverend David Swenson (Brenden Penny from Motive). It isn’t until Casey is thrust into the position of senior minister for her church that she discovers the real cause for her discontent – her fear of failing might be stronger than her faith in herself.
Also on October 12, the Hallmark Movie & Mysteries (formerly the Hallmark Movie Channel) original movie Along Came a Nanny will debut at 9 PM. As a series of burglaries plague an upscale, gated community, handsome detective Mike Logan (Cameron Mathison, The Christmas Ornament) goes undercover as a nanny, infiltrating the neighborhood and investigating the crimes. When the Bannermans, a high maintenance family in need of domestic assistance, hire Mike as their nanny, he forms an unlikely bond with the Bannerman children and develops a crush on Jessie (Sarah Lancaster, Chuck), a beautiful nanny who works nearby. Struggling in his new role, an overwhelmed Mike soon falls out of favor with the children, who sense they’re in less than capable hands.
That same night, October 12, the new HBO drama The Affair will debut at 10 PM; and The Walking Dead will be back for a new season on AMC at 9 PM.
Mark your calendars!
