Here is a list of all of the programming options to expect on TV this week:
On November 5, the new 6-part mini-series The Game will debut on BBC America at 10 PM. In 1972 London, tensions are at a terrifying peak as the world’s super powers plot against their enemies. The threat: a dangerous and deadly Soviet plot, designed to bring Britain to its knees, dubbed Operation Glass. When an MI5 agent is contacted by a defecting KGB officer about the plan to destroy the British establishment, MI5 leader, Daddy (Brian Cox from The Bourne Supremacy), assembles a secret committee to investigate the threat in a frantic race against time. Their mission is to stop the plot, save Britain and in turn, the world.
The final season (that consists of only 6 episodes) of White Collar will return to the USA Network on November 6 at 9 PM followed by the return of Covert Affairs at 10 PM.
On November 8, the Hallmark Channel movie The Nine Lives of Christmas will debut at 8 PM. With Christmas approaching, a handsome fireman afraid of commitment adopts a stray cat and meets a beautiful veterinary student who challenges his decision to remain a confirmed bachelor.
That same night, the season finale of Doctor Who will air on BBC America at 9 PM.
The Newsroom will kick its third and final season on HBO on November 9 at 9 PM.
Also on November 9, A Cookie Cutter Christmas is a new Hallmark Channel original movie will debut at 8 PM. Two longtime rivals and elementary school teachers (Erin Krakow from When Calls the Heart and Miranda Frigon from Primeval: New World) duke it out during the holidays in a Christmas cookie bake-off, but their real feud ignites over a shared interest in a handsome single dad (David Haydn-Jones from Dear Santa). With both determined to win the prize and the romance, their competitiveness could jeopardize what matters most this Christmas season.
The UP Channel original movie Naughty & Nice will also debut on November 9 at 7 PM. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Los Angeles and commuters have Pepper Sterling (Tilky Jones from Nashville), a cynical and funny radio comic, to keep them entertained. When Pepper’s latest radio antics anger an important advertising executive, he gets shipped over to a sister station, KBRG in Idyllwild, Colorado to serve out his suspension until the dust blows over. Sandy Love (Haylie Duff from 7th Heaven), following in her father’s footsteps, loves radio and came home to Idyllwild to host her own talk show. She is unapologetically romantic and nostalgic, especially at Christmas. Thrown together as co-hosts on her show “Dr. Love in the Moring”, she is immediately at odds with Pepper, who never met a sentiment he couldn’t twist into a punchline and has no use for Christmas. When Samantha and Pepper’s “war of words” catches the attention of the small town, their joint show becomes a hit and they start to see something in each other.
Mark your calendars!
