We only have a few more months to go before the 2014-2015 TV season is over, but that doesn’t mean that there weren’t plenty of shows to watch on the cable networks throughout February. There were also plenty of made-for-TV movies, mini-series and/or event series to watch too.
Here are the ratings for the cable dramas and more for February:
CABLE DRAMAS
MONDAYS:
Eye Candy – The new MTV thriller aired four new episode during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
February 2 – 604,000 viewers
February 9 – 619,000 viewers
February 16 – 707,000 viewers
February 23 – 601,000 viewers
This averages out to 632,000 viewers for February. A new episode of Eye Candy aired on MTV on March 2 with the next new episode set to air on Monday, March 9 at 10 PM.
The Fosters – The family drama aired four new episodes its second season during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
February 2 – 1.3 million
February 9 – 1.2 million
February 16 – 1.3 million
February 23 – 1.3 million
This averages out to 1.3 million viewers for February. A new episode of The Fosters aired on ABC Family on March 2 with the next new episode set to air on Monday, March 9 at 8 PM.
Chasing Life – The ABC Family drama returned for the rest of its debut season on January 19, airing two episodes during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
February 2 – 775,000 viewers
February 9 – 916,000 viewers
February 16 – 813,000 viewers
February 23 – 806,000 viewers
This averages out to 828,000 viewers for February. A new episode of Chasing Life aired on ABC Family on March 2 with the next new episode set to air on Monday, March 9 at 9 PM.
Better Call Saul – The AMC prequel of sorts to Breaking Bad actually debuted as a two-night event on Sunday, February 8 and Monday, February 9 followed by two more episodes during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
February 8 – 6.9 million
February 9 – 3.4 million
February 16 – 3.2 million
February 23 – 2.9 million
This averages out to 4.1 million viewers for February. A new episode of Better Call Saul aired on AMC on March 2 with the next new episode set to air on Monday, March 9 at 10 PM.
TUESDAYS:
Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce – The first scripted drama on Bravo aired another four new episodes of its debut season during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
February 3 – 739,000 viewers
February 10 – 833,000 viewers
February 17 – 744,000 viewers
February 24 – 788,000 viewers (Season Finale)
This averages out to 776,000 viewers for February. Bravo has given Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce a second season order.
The Haves and Have Nots – The OWN soap opera aired four new episodes of its third season during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
February 3 – 2.9 million
February 10 – 3.4 million
February 17 – 3.2 million
February 24 – 3.3 million
This averages out to 3.2 million viewers for February. A new episode of The Haves and Have Nots aired on OWN on March 3 with the next new episode set to air on Tuesday, March 10 at 9 PM.
Pretty Little Liars – The long-running ABC Family soap opera aired for new episodes of its fifth season during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:

This averages out to 1.2 million viewers for February. A new episode of Switched at Birth aired on ABC Family on March 3 with the spring finale set to air on Tuesday, March 10 at 9 PM.
Justified – The long-running FX series aired four new episodes of its sixth and final season during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
February 3 – 2 million
February 10 – 1.6 million
February 17 – 1.7 million

This averages out to 1.8 million viewers for February. A new episode of Justified aired on FX on March 3 with the next new episode set to air on Tuesday, March 10 at 10 PM.
Being Mary Jane – The BET drama returned for the start of its second season on February 3, airing four episodes during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:

Rizzoli & Isles – The long-running TNT cop drama returned for the rest of its current, fifth season on February 17, airing two episodes during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:

This averages out to 3.3 million viewers for February. A new episode of Rizzoli & Isles aired on TNT on March 3 with the next new episodes set to air on Tuesday, March 10 at 9 PM.
Perception – This TNT drama returned for the rest of its third and final season on February 17, airing two episodes during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
February 17 – 1.6 million (Mid-Season Return)
February 24 – 1.3 million
This averages out to 1.5 million viewers for February. A new episode of Perception aired on TNT on March 3 with the next new episode set to air on Tuesday, March 10 at 10 PM.
WEDNESDAYS:
Hindsight – The new VH1 time-travel drama aired four new episodes of its debut season during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
February 4 – 280,000 viewers
February 11 – 284,000 viewers
February 18 – 175,000 viewers
February 25 – 205,000 viewers
This averages out to 236,000 viewers for February. A new episode of Hindsight aired on VH1 on March 4 with the final episode set to air on Wednesday, March 11 at 10 PM.
Suits – The USA Network legal drama aired four new episodes of its current, fourth season during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
February 4 – 1.7 million
February 11 – 1.5 million
February 18 – 1.7 million
February 25 – 1.8 million
This averages out to 1.7 million viewers for February. The season finale of Suits aired on the USA Network on March 4. Ratings for that final episode will be included in the March report.
The Americans – This FX spy drama actually returned for the start of its third season on January 28 and aired four new episodes during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
January 28 – 1.9 million
February 4 – 918,000 viewers
February 11 – 1 million
February 18 – 972,000 viewers
February 25 – 811,000 viewers
This averages out to 1.1 million viewers for the above time period. A new episodes of The Americans aired on FX on March 4 with the next new episode set to air on Wednesday, March 11 at 10 PM.
THURSDAYS:
Babylon – The new Sundance dramedy aired the final two episodes of its debut season during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
February 5 – 73,000 viewers
February 12 – 55,000 viewers (Finale)
This averages out to 64,000 viewers for February. There is no word if there will be a second season of Babylon on Sundance.
Fortitude – The new Pivot event series aired four new episodes of its debut season during February, but ratings could not be tracked down for those episodes. A new episode of Fortitude aired on Pivot on March 5 with next new episode set to air on Thursday, March 12 at 10 PM.
Vikings – The History Channel period piece drama returned for the start of its third season on February 19, airing two episodes during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
February 19 – 2.8 million (Season Premiere)
February 26 – 2.4 million
This averages out to 2.6 million viewers for February. A new episode of Vikings aired on the History Channel on March 5 with the next new episode set to air on Thursday, March 12 at 10 PM.
FRIDAYS:
Banshee – The Cinemax drama returned for its third season, starting on January 9, airing four episodes during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
February 6 – 583,000 viewers
February 13 – 610,000 viewers
February 20 – 547,000 viewers
February 27 – 588,000 viewers
This averages out to 582,000 viewers for February. A new episode of Banshee aired on Cinemax on March 6 with the next new episode set to air on Friday, March 13 at 10 PM.
12 Monkeys – The new Syfy series aired four more new episodes of its debut season during the month. The ratings for those are as follows:
February 6 – 731,000 viewers
February 13 – 664,000 viewers
February 20 – 686,000 viewers
February 27 – 696,000 viewers
This averages out to 694,000 viewers for February. A new episode of 12 Monkeys aired on Syfy on March 6 with the next new episode set to air on Friday, March 13 at 9 PM.
Helix – The Syfy thriller aired four new episodes of its second season during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
February 6 – 484,000 viewers
February 13 – 443,000 viewers

This averages out to 467,000 viewers for February. A new episode of Helix aired on Syfy on March 6 with the next new episode set to air on Friday, March 13 at 10 PM.
SATURDAYS:
Transporter: The Series – The final two episodes of the second season of Transporter: The Series aired during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
February 7 – 686,000 (Part 1 of Season Finale)
February 7 – 793,000 (Part 2 of Season Finale)
This averages out to 740,000 viewers for February. There is no word yet on whether Transporter: The Series has been given a third season yet or not by TNT.
Black Sails – The Starz drama aired four new episodes of its second season during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
February 7 – 691,000 viewers
February 14 – 752,000 viewers
February 21 – 750,000 viewers
February 28 – 778,000 viewers
This averages out to 743,000 viewers for February. A new episode of Black Sails will air on Starz on March 7 at 9 PM.
The Musketeers – The BBC America period piece drama aired four new episodes of its second season during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
February 7 – 179,000 viewers
February 14 – 214,000 viewers
February 21 – 311,000 viewers
February 28 – 291,000 viewers
This averages out to 249,000 viewers for February. A new episode of The Musketeers will air on BBC America on March 7 at 9 PM.
Good Witch – The popular Hallmark Channel movie franchise turned weekly series aired its two-hour series premiere on February 28, earning 2.9 million viewers. A new episode of Good Witch will air on the Hallmark Channel on March 7 at 8 PM.
SUNDAYS:
The Walking Dead – The zombie-filled AMC drama returned for the remainder of its fifth season on February 8, airing three episodes during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
February 8 – 15.6 million (Mid-Season Return)
February 15 – 12.3 million
February 22 – 13.4 million
This averages out to 13.8 million viewers for February. A new episode of The Walking Dead aired on AMC on March 1 with the next new episode set to air on Sunday, March 8 at 9 PM.
Downton Abbey – The international hit series aired the remaining four episodes of its fifth season on PBS during the month, but ratings could not be tracked down for any of those airings. The two-hour Christmas episode aired on March 1 and if ratings for that airing can be tracked down will be included in the March report.
MADE-FOR-TV MOVIES AND MINI-SERIES
There were a dozen made-for-TV movies and mini-series that aired on the cable networks during February. Here is a list of those that could be found:
