There must have been a lot of chocolate-hangovers last night because the ratings for the few shows that aired new episodes was really quite low.

Here is how the Monday night shows fared in the overall ratings:

8 PM Show:
The Originals (The CW) [NEW – Return] – 1.1 million

9 PM Shows:
The Following (FOX) [NEW] – 2.9 million
Jane the Virgin (The CW) [NEW – Return] – 930,000 viewers

10 PM Show:
The Night Shift (NBC) [NEW] – 5.7 million
