Here is a list of all of the programming options to expect on TV this week:
The (failed) box office movie Grace of Monaco has been relegated to airing on Lifetime on May 25 at 8 PM. Nicole Kidman stars as the beloved Grace Kelly in the biopic that takes place in 1962, six years after Kelly celebrated her “wedding of the century” and finds her yearning for a return to her acting career. The film also stars Tim Roth, Frank Langella, Parker Posey and Paz Vega.
On May 28, the new NBC drama Aquarius will debut with a two-hour series premiere at 9 PM. The series will explore the cat-and-mouse game between Charles Manson and the police in the years leading up to the infamous Tate-LaBianca murders in the late 1960s.
The HBO movie Nightingale will debut on May 29 at 9 PM. David Oyelowo (Selma) stars in this provocative drama that probes the darkest corners of a disturbed mind, as a war veteran begins to unravel thread by thread.
On May 30, the much-anticipated season finale of the Starz period piece drama Outlander will air at 9 PM.
The Lifetime made-for-TV movie The Secret Life of Marilyn Monroe will air at 8 PM on May 30 and May 31. Based on the best-seller of the same name by J. Randy Taraborrelli, the film is a portrait of a young Norma Jeane Mortenson as she battles a lonely and loveless existence with an absent mother. Despite the odds, Norma Jeane blossoms into a funny, smart and ambitious woman who soon reinvents herself to become the symbol of an era. Kelli Garner stars as Monroe while Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Supernatural and Magic City) will play Joe DiMaggio and veteran actress Susan Sarandon will play Marilyn’s mother Gladys.
And Halt and Catch Fire will return for its second season on AMC on May 31 at 10 PM.
