On December 3, the NBC production The Wiz Live! will debut at 8 PM.

This is a special three-hour live event production based on the groundbreaking Broadway show that brought the world of Oz to life in a funky sing-along journey down the yellow brick road.

The cast includes newcomer Shanice Williams as Dorothy, David Alan Grier as the Cowardly Lion, Elijah Kelley as the Scarecrow, Ne-Yo as the Tinman, Uzo Aduba (Orange is the New Black) as Glinda, Amber Riley (Glee) as Addaperie, Mary J. Blige as Evilene, Queen Latifah as The Wiz, Common as the Bouncer and Stephanie Mills as Auntie Em.
