TV Ratings

With the Thanksgiving holiday fast approaching several of the major networks are already on their holiday schedules, but CBS, NBC and FOX aired their regular Tuesday night line-ups last night.

Here is how those Tuesday dramas fared in the overall ratings:

8 PM Show:
NCIS (CBS) [NEW] – 16 million

9 PM Shows:
NCIS: New Orleans (CBS) [NEW] – 11.7 million
Chicago Med (NBC) [NEW] – 7.6
Scream Queens (FOX) [NEW] – 2 million

10 PM Shows:
Chicago Fire (NBC) [NEW] – 7.3 million
Limitless (CBS) [NEW] – 6.5 million

A Gift Wrapped Christmas

The new Lifetime holiday movie A Gift Wrapped Christmas will debut on November 28 at 8 PM.

Personal shopper Gwen’s newest client, Charlie, is a high-rolling, workaholic, single father. When Gwen meets his 8-year-old son, Owen, during a package drop, she is saddened to see just how little time Charlie spends with him. Determined to get Charlie to appreciate his family, Gwen makes it her Christmas mission to get him into the festive spirit. As she gets closer to Charlie and Owen, she also discovers what she wants for the holidays.

The film stars Meredith Hagner (Men at Work), Travis Milne (Rookie Blue) and Beverley Mitchell (7th Heaven).

A Christmas Detour

The Hallmark Channel movie A Christmas Detour will debut at 8 PM

Two NYC bound travelers find themselves inextricably linked when a snowstorm waylays their flight to an airport hotel in Buffalo. Eternal optimist and hopeless romantic, Paige Summers (Candace Cameron Bure), desperately needs to find a way to the city to meet her fiancé’s parents before her wedding – and it’s up to a guy she can’t stand, fellow passenger and total stranger Dylan MacKenzie (Paul Greene from Bitten), who is permanently soured on romance after his girlfriend broke his heart. Still Dylan rises to the occasion to become Paige’s off-white Knight in shining armor. Joining them are Frank and Maxine Gambert, who are heading to Connecticut to spend Christmas with their daughter. As their madcap adventure ensues, our foursome will be forced to face a lot more surprises than the ever changing snowstorm preventing each of them from getting home.

South.of.Hell

On November 27, the new scripted drama South of Hell will debut all 7 episodes on WE tv starting at 6 PM.

Charleston, South Carolina is an elusive city with many faces and the perfect home for Maria Abascal (Mena Suvari), a stunning, 30-year-old demon-hunter-for-hire. Alongside her brother, David (Zachary Booth from Keep the Lights On), she is skilled and fearless in her pursuit of the demons that live in others. Like those that she hunts, Maria is divided within herself, struggling with her own demon, Abigail, who resides inside of her, feeding on the evil Maria exorcises from others. Maria and Abigail share a soul and a destiny, but as Maria desperately tries to overtake Abigail, she will discover how far Abigail will go to remain a part of her.

Crown For Christmas

The Hallmark Channel movie Crown for Christmas will debut on November 27 at 8 PM.

Allie (Danica McKellar), a fired maid from a ritzy NYC hotel, takes a job as a governess to a young girl who is part of a powerful family in Europe. After reluctantly accepting, and upon arrival at the castle, learns the girl is Princess Theodora and that her father is Maximillion, the King of Winshire (Rupert Penry Jones). Max informs Allie that the Princess prides herself on terrorizing authority figures and has gotten worse since her mother’s death. As the story unfolds, we see Allie bond with Theodora and also helps to bring Theodora and her father together.

And through all of this, a spark forms between Allie and Max. However, Countess Celia is expecting to wed the King. Will Max take a stand for his feelings for Allie and make it truly a merry Christmas for all?

Here is a list of the programming options to expect on TV this coming week:

Castle will air its fall finale on November 23 on ABC at 10 PM.

NOTE: The show will return for the rest of its current season in early February.

On November 25, the Hallmark Channel movie Once Upon a Holiday will debut at 8 PM, starring Brianna Evigan (Step Up franchise), Paul Campbell (Battlestar Galactica) and Greg Evigan (BJ and the Bear).

The new Hallmark Channel movie 12 Gifts of Christmas will debut on November 26 at 8 PM, starring Katrina Law (Arrow), Aaron O’Connell (The Haves and Have Nots) and Donna Mills (Knots Landing).

On November 27, the fourth season of the former CBS series Unforgettable has a new home on A&E, airing its two-hour back-to-back season premiere at 8 and 9 PM.

The Hallmark Channel movie Crown for Christmas will debut on November 27 at 8 PM, starring Danica McKellar and Rupert Penry Jones.

Also on November 27, the new scripted drama South of Hell will debut all 7 episodes on WE tv starting at 6 PM. The series stars Mena Suvari and Zachary Booth.

The following holiday movies will debut on November 28:

* The Hallmark Channel movie A Christmas Detour at 8 PM, starring Candace Cameron Bure and Paul Greene (Bitten).

TV Ratings

Last night’s programming was filled with the American Music Awards and football as well as the normal animation and comedy night on FOX. That didn’t leave much room for dramatic programming on the major networks, but there were a few new episodes of the Sunday night dramas.
