Sandra Brown's White Hot

April 17 – The Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie Sandra Brown’s White Hot will debut at 9 PM

Sayre Hoyle (Shenae Grimes-Beech from 90210 and Scream 4) is a single and strikingly beautiful interior designer, enjoying success in San Francisco after running away from her Louisiana hometown, where her family still resides, a decade ago.

When she learns of her brother’s unexpected death, Sayre returns to her small town to attend his funeral, and revisits the strained relationship she’s always had with her father, Huff Hoyle (John Schneider from Smallville and Dukes of Hazzard), a corrupt factory owner who lords over his employees – and most of the town – using fear and intimidation. There, Sayre meets Beck Merchant (Sean Faris from The Lost Valentine and Pretty Little Liars), Huff’s handsome attorney, who immediately takes an interest in her.

Though it’s widely believed her brother died from an accidental gunshot wound, Sayre soon begins to suspect foul play, and turns the town upside down when she launches her own investigation, attempting to discover the truth behind his tragic passing. Uncovering a web of dark secrets, lies, cover ups and revenge plots, Sayre struggles with family dynamics, terrifying threats and local law-enforcement officials. Despite becoming more and more attracted to Beck – and maybe even falling in love – Sayre remains determined to prove her brother was murdered and bring his killer to justice.

Here is a trailer for Sandra Brown’s White Hot.

The Hallmark Hall of Fame movie Hear My Song will debut on April 16 at 8 PM on CBS.

This inspirational, music-filled movie tells the tale of a neglected 12-year-old boy, Stet (newcomer Garrett Wareing), whose devilish behavior obscures his angelic singing voice until he enters a boy choir boarding school where the demanding choir master (Dustin Hoffman) drives him to achieve beyond his wildest dreams.

The cast includes Kathy Bates, Debra Winger, comedian-actor Eddie Izzard (The Riches), Josh Lucas (The Mysteries of Laura) and Kevin McHale (Glee).

Here is a trailer for Hear My Song.
