For all intents and purposes, the 2015-2016 TV season came to a close last night on the major networks with more than a handful of shows airing their season and/or series finales. There was also the season premiere of one FOX summer show.
It should also be noted there about a handful of other fall and/or mid-season dramas that will be finishing their season over the next few weeks.
Here is how all of the Wednesday night dramas fared in the overall ratings:
8 PM Shows:
Heartbeat (NBC) [NEW – Series Finale] – 4.2 million
Rosewood (FOX) [NEW – Season Finale] – 3.4 million
Arrow (The CW) [NEW – Season Finale] – 2.2 million
9 PM Shows:
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (NBC) [NEW – Season Finale] – 7.1 million
Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders (CBS) [NEW – Episode 1 – Season Finale] – 5.6 million
Wayward Pines (FOX) [NEW – Season Premiere] – 3.1 million
Supernatural (The CW) [NEW – Season Finale] – 1.9 million
10 PM Show:
Chicago P.D. (NBC) [NEW – Season Finale] – 6.9 million
Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders (CBS) [NEW – Episode 2 – Season Finale] – 5.2 million
Nashville (ABC) [NEW – Series Finale] – 4.2 million
