Here is a very short list of the programming options to expect on TV this week:

On July 6, the third season of the FX drama Tyrant will premiere at 10 PM.

And on July 10, the new 8-episode HBO limited series The Night Of will debut at 9 PM. The limited series will delve into the intricacies of a complex New York City murder case with cultural and political overtones, examining the police investigation, the legal proceedings, the criminal justice system and the feral purgatory of Rikers Island, where the accused await trial for felony crimes. The cast includes John Turturro (O Brother, Where Art Thou), Paulo Costanzo (Royal Pains), Sofia Black-D’Elia (The Messengers) and Glenne Headly (The Joneses).
