We are edging ever closer to the start of the fall TV season on the major networks, but that doesn’t mean that the cable networks have cut back on their programming. The following is how all of the cable network dramas aired during July as well as all the made-for-TV movies too.
CABLE DRAMAS
MONDAYS:
Hunters – The series finale of the Syfy alien-themed thriller aired on July 11, earning 310,000 viewers.
12 Monkeys – The time-travel apocalyptic-themed series aired the final two episodes of its second season during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
July 11 – 472,000 viewers
July 19 – 431,000 viewers (Season Finale)
This averages out to 452,000 viewers for July. 12 Monkeys will return for a third season on Syfy sometime next year.
Devious Maids – The Lifetime dramedy aired four more new episodes of its fourth season during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
July 4 – 943,000 viewers
July 11 – 1 million
July 18 – 524,000 viewers
July 25 – 871,000 viewers
This averages out to 835,000 viewers for July. A new episode of Devious Maids aired on Lifetime on Monday, August 1 and the season finale aired on August 8. The ratings for those episodes will be in August’s report.
UnReal – The Lifetime reality-show-themed drama returned for its second season on June 6, airing four episodes during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
July 4 – 549,000 viewers
July 11 – 568,000 viewers
July 18 – 818,000 viewers
July 25 – 485,000 viewers
This averages out to 507,000 viewers for July. A new episode of UnReal aired on Lifetime on Monday, August 1 and the season finale aired on August 8. The ratings for those episodes will be in August’s report.
Rizzoli & Isles – The seventh and final season of the long-running TNT police drama aired three new episode during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
July 11 – 4.1 million
July 18 – 4.1 million
July 25 – 3.9 million
This averages out to 4 million viewers for July. New episodes of Rizzoli & Isles aired on TNT on August 1, August 8 and August 15 with the next new episode set to air on Monday, August 22 at 9 PM.
Major Crimes – The fifth season of the TNT drama aired three new episodes during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
July 11 – 3.9 million
July 18 – 3.7 million
July 25 – 3.6 million
This averages out to 3.7 million viewers for July. New episodes of Major Crimes aired on TNT on August 1, August 8 and August 15 with the next new episode set to air on Monday, August 22 at 10 PM.
The Fosters – The Freeform family drama aired three new episodes of its fourth season during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
July 11 – 798,000 viewers
July 18 – 822,000 viewers
July 25 – 848,000 viewers
This averages out to 823,000 viewers for July. New episodes of The Fosters aired on Freeform on August 1, August 8 and August 15 with the next new episode set to air on August 8 at 8 PM.
Guilt – The ripped-from-the-headlines Freeform drama aired three more new episodes of its debut season during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:

Scream: The TV Series – The MTV series, based on the franchise film of the same name, aired four more new episodes of its second season during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:

July 26 – 352,000 viewers
This averages out to 389,000 viewers for July. New episodes of Scream: The TV Series aired on MTV on August 2 and August 9 with the season finale airing on Tuesday, August 16 at 10 PM. The ratings for those episodes will be in August’s report.
Feed the Beast – The new AMC drama aired four more new episodes of its debut season during July and aired its finale on August 2. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
July 5 – 374,000 viewers
July 12 – 390,000 viewers
July 19 – 419,000 viewers
July 26 – 337,000 viewers
August 2 – 406,000 viewers (Finale)
This averages out to 385,000 viewers for the above time period. AMC has yet to renew Feed the Beast for a second season.
Animal Kingdom – The new TNT drama, based on the Australian film of the same name, aired more new episodes during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:

Pretty Little Liars – The 7th and final season of the long-running Freeform (formerly ABC Family) aired four more new episodes during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:

Royal Pains – The series finale of the long-running USA Network series aired on July 6, earning 1.8 million viewers.
Cleverman – This Australian series aired its season finale on SundanceTV on July 6, garnering 129,000 viewers. The series was renewed for a second season.
Greenleaf – The OWN series about a Memphis megachurch aired four more new episodes of its debut season during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:

Thirteen – The five-part BBC America mini-series actually debuted on June 23, airing two episodes in June and the remaining episodes in July. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
June 23 – 205,000 viewers (DEBUT)
June 30 – 108,000 viewers
July 7 – 78,000 viewers
July 14 – 96,000 viewers
July 21 – 101,000 viewers (Finale)
This averages out to 118,000 viewers for July. It has not been announced yet whether BBC America will renew Thirteen for a second season.
Queen of the South – The gritty new USA Network aired four new episodes of its debut season during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:
