It was a full night of programming on the major networks last night with two returning dramas airing their season premieres and all the other networks (except The CW) airing new episodes of their Wednesday night dramas.
Here is how all of those dramas fared in the overall ratings:

Blindspot (NBC) [NEW – 5.6 million
9 PM Shows:
Empire (FOX) [NEW] – 9.6 million
Criminal Minds (CBS) [NEW – Season Premiere] – 8.9 million
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (NBC) [NEW] – 6 million
10 PM Shows:
Designated Survivor (ABC) [NEW] – 7.9 million
Code Black (CBS) [NEW – Season Premiere] – 6.3 million
Chicago P.D. (NBC) [NEW] – 6.1 million
