Here are the ratings for the primetime dramas that aired new episodes on the major networks this past weekend, which included a very busy Sunday night.

Here is a list of programming options to expect on TV this coming week:

The season finale of Shadowhunters will air on Freeform on March 6 at 8 PM.

On March 7, the fifth season of The Americans will air on FX at 10 PM.

The fifth and final 6-episode season of Ripper Street will premiere on BBC America on March 8 at 11 PM; that same night, the WGN America period piece drama Underground will return for its second season at 10 PM.

Also on March 8, Designated Survivor will be back for the rest of its debut season on ABC at 10 PM; meanwhile, that same night, CBS will air the season premiere of Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders at 10 PM (taking over for the pulled, new series Doubt that was yanked from the schedule after only two episodes)

The season finale of the History Channel series Six will also air on March 8 at 10 PM.

On March 9, The Catch will premiere on ABC with the start of its second season at 10 PM; and the mid-season finale of Nashville will also air on March 9 on CMT at 9 PM.

The one-hour retrospective “Forever Yours” honoring The Vampire Diaries will air on March 10 on The CW at 8 PM, followed by the show’s series finale at 9 PM.

That same night (on March 10) the second season of Hand of God will air online on Amazon.

Lastly on March 12, the 8-part anthology series American Crime will be back for a third season on ABC at 10 PM. When a father, Luis Salazar (Benito Martinez), travels illegally from Mexico into the United States to search for his missing son, he discovers that modern servitude is thriving in the farmlands and agricultural communities. Promised a job and a place to live, these laborers find themselves forced to live in abject poverty. Required to pay for their own food and other essentials, what little money they make is paid back to their employers, and because they will forever be in debt, they can never leave.

CANCELLATION

The USA Network drama Eyewitness has been cancelled after only one season. (Variety)

CASTING NEWS

Benedict Cumberbatch will star in the 5-part drama Melrose that will follow Patrick Melrose, who makes a harrowing odyssey from a deeply traumatic childhood through adult substance abuse and, ultimately, toward recovery, based on the series of novels by Edward St. Aubyn. Each episode will cover one novel, spanning from the south of France in the 1960s, New York in the 1980s and London in the early 2000s. (Variety)

Actor Michael Gaston (The Leftovers) has been promoted to series regular for season 3 of The Man in the High Castle. (Deadline)

Actor Alexander Siddig (The Game of Thrones) will play Ra’s al Ghul in FOX’s Gotham. (The Futon Critic)

Actor Rahul Kohli (iZombie) will play appear in Supergirl as Jack Spheer, a tech genius whose latest medical innovation, if successful, will eradicate major illnesses. (TV Guide and Entertainment Weekly)

Veteran actress Diana Rigg (the 60’s classic The Avengers and Game of Thrones) has joined the cast of the PBS mini-series Victoria for its second season, playing the Duchess of Bucchleuch, who is the young Queen’s new Mistress of the Robes. (Deadline)

Actor Matt Passmore (The Glades and Satisfaction) will be appear in the final two episodes of Lethal Weapon. (Matt Passmore’s Fan Page at Facebook)
