TV Ratings: Spring TV (Thursday, April 13)

Last night’s programming on the major networks was pretty full with all of the Thursday night dramas airing new episodes.

Here is how all of the Thursday night dramas fared in the overall ratings:

8 PM Shows:
Grey’s Anatomy (ABC) [NEW] – 7.1 million
Supernatural (The CW) [NEW] – 1.6 million

9 PM Shows:
Chicago Med (NBC) [NEW] – 6.2 million
Scandal (ABC) [NEW] – 5.4 million
Riverdale (The CW) [NEW] – 874,000 viewers

10 PM Shows:
The Blacklist: Redemption (NBC) [NEW – Finale] – 3.9 million
The Catch (ABC) [NEW] – 3.2 million

New Show Introduction: Famous in Love

The new Freeform drama Famous in Love will debut at 8 PM.

Based on the novel by Rebecca Serle, the series follows ordinary college student Paige (Bella Thorne) as she gets her big break after auditioning for the starring role in a Hollywood blockbuster. She must now navigate her new star-studded life and the highs and lows that come with being the new It Girl in town as well as balancing her college workload.

The cast includes Carter Jenkins (Surface), Perrey Reeves (Covert Affairs and Entourage), Pepi Sonuga (The Fosters), Charlie DePew (The Goldbergs), Keith Powers (Faking It) and newcomers Georgie Flores and Niki Koss.

OUTLANDER: New Photo for Season 3

Viewers of the Starz drama may have to wait until September for the return of season 3, but in the meantime, check out the new photo of Jamie (series lead Sam Heughan) that was just released by the network.

New Show Introduction: Guerrilla

On April 16, the 6-part limited series Guerrilla will debut on Showtime at 9 PM.

The limited series tells the story of a couple whose relationship and values are tested when they liberate a political prisoner and form a radical underground cell in 1970s London.

The cast includes Idris Elba, Freida Pinto (Slumdog Millionaire) and Babou Ceesay (A.D. The Bible Continues).

Limited Event Series Recommendation: The White Princess

The 8-episode original, limited series The White Princess, based on the novel by Philippa Gregory, will debut on April 16 on Starz at 8 PM.

Set in 15th century England this series is a gripping historical drama told from the perspective of the women waging the ongoing battle for the English throne: Lizzie (Jodie Comer from Thirteen), Lady Margaret Beaufort (Michelle Fairley from Game of Thrones) and Dowager Queen Elizabeth Woodville (Essie Davis from Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries).
