Last night’s programming options on the major networks were fairly normal except for The CW airing repats.

Here is how Monday night dramas, that aired new episodes, fared in the overall ratings:

8 PM Show:

The new made-for-TV movie Like Cats & Dogs will debut on the Hallmark Channel on April 15 at 9 PM.

Lara (Cassidy Gifford from The Gallows) is a dog lover, while Spencer (Wyatt Nash from Karen Kingsbury’s The Bridge) is a cat lover. Spencer and Lara could not be more different. So when Go BnB lands them – and their pets – in the same lake house vacation rental over summer, they will have to figure out a way to get along without killing each other.

On April 15, the debut of the new Doctor Who spin-off series Class will debut on BBC America at 10 PM.

The 8-episode series will follow four Coal Hill School students who have hidden secrets and desires, navigate a life of friends, parents, school work, sex, sorrow – and possibly the end of existence.

The cast includes Fady Elsayed, Greg Austin, Katherine Kelly, Sophie Hopkins and Vivian Oparah.

Here is a list of programming options to expect on TV this coming week:

On April 10, the third season of Better Call Saul will premiere on AMC at 10 PM.

The season finale of The Fosters will air on April 11 at 8 PM on Freeform followed by the 90-minute series finale of Switched at Birth at 9 PM.

Then on April 12, the Hulu streaming series The Path will air its finale online; while that same night the season finale of Major Crimes will air on TNT at 9 PM and also that night, the series finale of Ripper Street will air on BBC America at 11 PM.

The finale of The Blacklist: Redemption will air on April 13 on NBC at 10 PM; and the season finale of Sun Records will air also air that night on CMT at 10 PM.

On April 14, the season finale of MacGyver will air on CBS at 8 PM.

The new CBS drama Ransom will come to an end on April 15 at 8 PM while that same night the new season of Doctor Who will air on BBC America at 9 PM followed by the debut of the new spin-off series Class at 10 PM.

Also on April 15, the new movie Like Cats and Dogs will debut on the Hallmark Channel at 9 PM, starring Cassidy Gifford (The Gallows) and Wyatt Nash (The Bridge).

The 8-episode original, limited series The White Princess, based on the novel by Philippa Gregory, will debut on April 16 on Starz at 8 PM.

That same night, the final season of The Leftovers will premiere on HBO at 9 PM while the finale of The Good Fight will also air that night on CBS All Access.

Lastly, the 6-part limited series Guerrilla will also debut on April 16 on Showtime at 9 PM.

RENEWALS

Netflix has picked up A Series of Unfortunate Events for a third season less than a month after the streaming service announced it was ordering Season 2. (Variety)

Colony has been given a third season pick-up by the USA Network. (Variety)

Falling Water has been renewed for a second season by the USA Network. (The Futon Critic)

CBS has renewed Criminal Minds for another season. (Variety)

CASTING NEWS

Actor Enrico Colantoni (Veronica Mars and Person of Interest) will join the second season of the Showcase (the Canadian network) time-travelling sci-fi drama Travelers. He will play Vincent, a mysterious individual who may or may not be a friend of the travelers. (Showcase Press Release)

Actor Osric Chau (Supernatural), who recurred during the first season of BBC America’s Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency, has been promoted to series regular for season 2. (Deadline)

Actor Mark Consuelos (Pitch) will have a major recurring role in the 4th season of The Night Shift, playing Cain, a highly confident and aggressive travel nurse who emigrated to the U.S. from Mexico. (TV Line)

Actor Tyler Posey (Teen Wolf) has booked an arc on Jane the Virgin that will start this season and continue into next season, but who he will be playing is being kept under wraps. (Entertainment Weekly)

Actress Billie Lourd (Scream Queens) [and the daughter of the late Carrie Fisher and the granddaughter of the late Debbie Reynolds] will appear in the 7th season of American Horror Story. (The Hollywood Reporter)

Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica and Longmire), Lance Henriksen (Aliens and Into the Badlands) and Jaeden Bettencourt (Hotel Transylvania 2) have joined the cast of The Machine, which is set in a world that is being transformed by the emergence of artificial intelligence, exploring the epic conflict between man and technology through the lives and motivations of six interwoven characters. It is based on the 2013 sci-fi film of the same name. They will each lend their voices in order to breathe life to supercomputers Nadia, Stanley and Kazimir. (Deadline and Blastr)

Actress Janet McTeer (Me Before You and The White Queen) has joined the second season of Netflix’s Marvel’s Jessica Jones, but details on who she will be playing are undisclosed at this time. (The Futon Critic)
