Rueben's Ramblings

On May 21, the PBS two-part drama Dark Angel will debut at 9 PM.

Joanne Froggatt (Downton Abbey) plays the notorious poisoner Mary Ann Cotton, who grew up in poverty with the dream of escaping the hard life of a miner’s family, a goal she came tantalizingly close to achieving.

The cast includes Alun Armstrong (Little Dorrit), Thomas Howes (Downton Abbey), Jonas Armstrong (Robin Hood), Sam Hoare (Jane Eyre) and Laura Morgan (The Hollow Crown).
