Here are the FOX pilots up for consideration for the 2017-2018 TV season:

Behind Enemy Lines: A military soap thriller where a group of U.S. soldiers find themselves trapped behind enemy lines. The “distinctly patriotic series” is a multi-perspective narrative that closely follows our soldiers on the ground, and the officers and service men and women on a nearby aircraft carrier, along with intelligence officers in D.C., as they attempt to bring our heroes home safely and under the radar.

Untitled Marvel Action-Adventure Pilot(also known as Gifted): The pilot revolves around two ordinary parents who discover their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.

Untitled University Project (formerly titled Controversy): The pilot follows the Junior Counsel of a prestigious Illinois university who must deal with an out-of-control scandal when a young co-ed accuses several star football players of sexual assault. From the football coaches and boosters who wield outsize influence to a university administration under siege, the project explores the type of high-profile controversy all too familiar on today’s college campuses, as well as the corrosive, dangerous nature of institutional power.

Instinct: Based on the upcoming James Patterson novel, a former CIA operative who has since built a “normal” life as a gifted professor and writer is pulled back into his old life when the NYPD needs his help to stop a serial killer on the loose.

Untitled Jenny Lumet Project (formerly known as Higher Ground): The pilot focuses on an elite team of investigators for the Northeast Regional U.S. Hate Crimes Unit, who solve a myriad of crimes against humanity as they confront their own biases.

Untitled Navy SEALs Pilot: The pilot follows the lives of the elite Navy SEALs as they train, plan and execute the most dangerous, high stakes missions the country can ask.

CAST: Neil Brown, Jr. (Straight Outta Compton), Max Theriot (Bates Motel), Toni Trucks (Franklin & Bash), A.J. Buckley (Supernatural and CSI: NY), David Boreanaz (Bones and Angel) and Jessica Pare (Mad Men).

Wisdom of the Crowd: Based on the Israeli television series of the same name, the pilot tells the story of a tech innovator who, inspired by the notion that a million minds are better than one, creates a cutting edge crowdsourcing hub to solve his own daughter’s murder, as well as revolutionizing crime solving in San Francisco.

Here are the ABC pilots up for consideration for the 2017-2018 TV season:

Deception: When his career is ruined by scandal, superstar magician Cameron Black has only one place to turn to practice his art of deception, illusion and influence — the FBI. He’ll become the world’s first consulting illusionist, helping the government solve crimes that defy explanation and trap criminals and spies by using deception.

The ideas they invented were so dangerous that the list was sealed and the program shut down. But when a catastrophe occurs ripped from the pages of the missing doomsday book, the team is brought back years later to prevent the disasters of their own making.

The local sheriff with a past, a federal agent and a mother in search of her missing refugee daughter drive this allegory with a surprising conspiracy at the center.

The Gospel of Kevin: A light one hour about Kevin, a down-on-his-luck man who is tasked by God with a mission to save the world.

CAST: Newcomer Natacha Karam, Mike Vogel (Under the Dome), Jason Ritter (Parenthood and Joan of Arcadia), Cristela Alonzo (Cristela), India de Beaufort (Jane By Design, Younger and NCIS: Los Angeles), Dustin Ybarra (We Bought a Zoo), Chloe East (Liv and Maddie), J. The Trustee: The hour-long comedic pilot revolves around a driven but stubborn detective finds who unlikely help from her precinct’s trustee, a larger than life ex-con finishing out her prison sentence doing menial tasks for the police department. Although these two have completely opposing views on crime and punishment, a highly entertaining and successful partnership is born.

Untitled Marc Cherry Pilot (formerly known as Bluegrass or Blood Red): Ruby Adair, the sheriff of colorful small town Oxblood, Kentucky, finds her red state outlook challenged when a young FBI agent of Middle Eastern descent is sent to help her solve a horrific crime. Together they form an uneasy alliance as Ruby takes the agent behind the lace curtains of this southern gothic community to meet an assortment of bizarre characters, each with a secret of their own.

Untitled Paul William Davies Pilot: Set in the Southern District of New York (SDNY) Federal Court, aka “The Mother Court,” this legal drama follows brand-new lawyers working on opposite sides — for both the defense and the prosecution as they handle the most high-profile and high-stakes cases in the country, all as their personal lives intersect.

THOSE BEHIND THE SCENES: Paul William Davies (Scandal), Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers.

Here is a list of programming options to expect on TV this coming week:

On May 1, Lucifer will return from its hiatus, airing its spring premiere on FOX at 9:01 PM while that same night the season finale of Taken will air on NBC at 10:01 PM.

The spring finale of Greenleaf will air on May 3 on OWN at 10 PM.

On May 5, the second season premiere of Sense8 will air on Netflix while that same night Blue Bloods will air its season finale on CBS at 10 PM.

On May 7, the series finale of the PBS series Home Fires will air at 9 PM while that same night the season finale of The Arrangement will air at 10 PM on E!. And, Billions will also air its season finale on May 7 on Showtime at 10 PM.
