On October 8, the original telefilm Bobbi Kristina will debut on TV One at 7 PM.

Starring newcomer Joy Rovaris in the title role, the film focuses on the real Bobbi Kristina Brown, a.k.a. “Krissy” – the vibrant, talented and troubled only daughter of pop music royalty Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, who died too young, and whose memory has been overshadowed by the circumstances of her death.

Demetria McKinney (House of Payne) will star as Whitney Houston, Hassan Johnson (The Wire) as Bobby Brown and Vivica A. Fox (Independence Day) as Pat Houston.
