Murder on the Orient Express

A lavish trip through Europe quickly unfolds into a race against time to solve a murder aboard a train. Everyone’s a suspect when Detective Hercule Poirot (Kevin Branagh) arrives to interrogate all passengers and search for clues before the killer can strike again. The cast includes Penelope Cruz, Willem Dafoe, Dame Judi Dench, Johnny Depp, Josh Gad, Leslie Odom Jr., Michelle Pfeiifer, Daisy Ridley, Derek Jacobi and Olivia Colman.
Justice League
Opens: November 17
Months after the events of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and inspired by Superman’s apparent sacrifice for humanity, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) and Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) assemble a team of meta-humans consisting of Barry Allen (Ezra Miller), Arthur Curry (Jason Momoa) and Victor Stone (Ray Fisher) to face the catastrophic threat of Steppenwolf and his army of Parademons, who are on the hunt for three Mother Boxes on Earth. The cast also includes Henry Cavil, Amy Adams, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J.K. Simmons, Joe Morton, Robin Wright, Jesse Eisenberg, Ciaran Hinds, Amber Heard, Billy Crudup and Willem Dafoe.
Roman J. Israel, Esq.
Opens: November 17
A liberal lawyer named Roman J. Israel (Denzel Washington) has been fighting the good fight while others take the credit. When his partner, the firm’s front man, has a heart attack, Israel suddenly takes on that role. He finds out some unsettling things about what the crusading law firm has done that run afoul of his values of helping the poor and dispossessed, and he finds himself in an existential crisis that leads to extreme action. The film also stars Colin Farrell, Carmen Ejogo, Nazneen Contractor and Shelley Hennig.
The Star

The animated film centers on a donkey named Bo (voiced by Steven Yeun) and his animal friends who become the unsung heroes of the first Christmas. Other voices will be provided by Gina Rodriguez, Zachary Levi, Keegan-Michael Key, Kelly Clarkson, Patricia Heaton, Kristin Chenoweth, Tracy Morgan, Tyler Perry, Oprah Winfrey, Kris Kristofferson, Christopher Plummer, Anthony Anderson, Ving Rhames and Gabriel Iglesias.
Wonder
Opens: November 17
August “Auggie” Pullman (Jacob Tremblay) is a young boy born with a facial difference who has been in and out of hospitals for years. With the help of his mother, Isabel (Julia Roberts) and his father, Nate (Owen Wilson), he tries to fit in at a new school named Beecher Prep and shows everyone that he is just an ordinary kid, no different than the rest of the world. He strives to teach others that beauty is not just on the outside. The film also stars Mandy Patinkin and Sonia Braga.
Chappaquiddick
Opens: November 22
Ted Kennedy’s (Jason Clarke) life and political career become derailed in the aftermath of a fatal car accident in 1969 that claims the life of a young campaign strategist, Mary Jo Kopechne (Kata Mara). The cast also includes Ed Helms, Bruce Dern, Jim Gaffigan and Taylor Nichols.
Coco
Opens: November 22
Despite his family’s generation-old ban on music, Miguel (voiced by Anthony Gonzalez) dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol Ernesto de la Cruz (who is also his late and long-lost great-great-grandfather) [voiced by Benjamin Bratt]. Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel and his dog Dante find themselves in the Land of the Dead. Along the way, they meet charming trickster Hector and together they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history. Other voices are provided by Gael Garcia Bernal, Edward James Olmos, Jaime Camil, Alanna Ubach, Gabriel Iglesias, Cheech Marin and John Ratzenberger.
Darkest Hour
Opens: November 22
Winston Churchill (Gary Oldman) faces a crucial moment against Adolf Hitler’s army in the beginning of the Second World War. The film also stars Ben Mendelsohn, Kristin Scott Thomas, Lily James and Stephen Dillane.
The Man Who Invented Christmas
Opens: November 22
In October 1843, Charles Dickens (Dan Stevens) was suffering from the failure of his last nine books. Rejected by his publishers, he set out to write and self-publish a book he hoped would keep his family afloat and revive his career. The cast includes Christopher Plummer, Jonathan Pryce and Simon Callow.
The Current War
Opens: November 24
The dramatic story of the War of Currents between electricity titans Thomas Edison (Benedict Cumberbatch) and George Westinghouse (Michael Shannon) to determine whose electrical system would power the modern world. The film also stars Nicholas Hoult, Katherine Waterston, Tom Holland, Tuppence Middleton and Matthew Macfadyen.
