Here are the long list of the new programming options to expect on TV this coming holiday week:
On January 1 – The winter premiere of Valor will air on The CW at 9 PM; while, on that same night, Lucifer and The Gifted will both be back with new episodes on FOX airing at 8 and 9 PM respectively.
The following winter premieres will air on January 2: Lethal Weapon on FOX at 8 PM; Chicago Med on NBC at 10:01 PM and NCIS, Bull and NCIS: New Orleans on CBS at 8, 9 and 10 PM respectively.
On January 3, the winter premieres of The Blacklist, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Chicago P.D. will air at 8, 9 and 10 PM respectively on NBC. Meanwhile on FOX that same night, the season premiere of The X-Files will air at 8 PM. SEAL Team and Criminal Minds will also return on January 3 to CBS at 9 and 10 PM respectively.
Also on January 3, the new FOX drama 9-1-1 will debut at 9 PM, starring Angela Bassett, Peter Krause, Connie Britton, Aisha Hinds, Kenneth Choi and Rockmond Dunbar that explores the high-pressure experiences of police, paramedics and firefighters who are thrust into the most frightening, shocking and heart-stopping situations.
The final season of Nashville will get underway started tonight on CMT on January 4 at 9 PM while that same night the season finales of Van Helsing and Ghost Wars will both air on Syfy at 9 PM and 10 PM respectively.
Also on January 4, Chicago Fire will air its winter premiere on NBC at 10 PM. Also that night S.W.A.T. will return with new episodes on CBS at 10 PM.
The winter premiere of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend will air on The CW on January 5 at 8 PM while that same night Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will air its winter premiere on ABC at 9 PM.
Also on January 5, the winter premieres of MacGyver, Hawaii Five-0 and Blue Bloods will air on CBS at 8, 9 and 10 PM respectively.
The finale episode of Ten Days In the Valley will air on ABC on January 6 at 10 PM. Meanwhile, the second season of Falling Water will premiere on the USA Network that same night at 10 PM.
Also on January 6, the Hallmark Channel movie Love on the Slopes will debut at 9 PM, starring Katrina Bowden and Thomas Beaudoin.
The Golden Globe Awards will air on NBC on January 7 at 8 PM as well as the return of new episodes of Star Trek: Discovery – that same night – on CBS All Access. As well as the winter premieres of Wisdom of the Crowd, NCIS: Los Angeles and Madam Secretary on CBS at 8, 9 and 10 PM respectively.
Also on January 7, the new Showtime series The Chi will debut at 10 PM, starring an ensemble cast in a coming-of-age story centering on a group of residents who become linked by coincidence but bonded by the need for connection and redemption.
Lastly, there are two new movies set to air on January 7, including the new UP TV movie Runaway Romance that debut at 7 PM, starring Danielle Chuchran, Trevor Donovan and Tatum O’Neal; as well as the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie Last Scene Alive: An Aurora Teagarden Mystery at 9 PM, starring Candace Cameron Bure, Marilu Henner and Yannick Bisson.
