Here is the list of the new programming options to expect on TV this coming week:
On March 20, the new season of Shadowhunters will premiere on Freeform at 8 PM.
The new Syfy drama Krypton will debut on March 21 at 10 PM. The new show is set two generations before the destruction of the legendary Man of Steel’s home planet, the series follows Superman’s grandfather (Cameron Cuffe from The Halcyon) – whose House of El was ostracized and shamed – as he fights to redeem his family’s honor and save his beloved world from chaos.
Also on March 21, the season finales of The X-Files and 9-1-1 will both air on FOX at 8 and 9 PM respectively.
The season finale of the Freeform drama Beyond will air on March 22 at 8 PM.
Also on March 22, the two-hour series debut of Station 19, the Grey’s Anatomy spin-off, will debut on ABC at 9 PM. The series follows a group of heroic firefighters at Seattle Fire Station 19 – from captain to newest recruit – as they risk their lives and hearts both in the line of duty and off the clock.
The Hallmark Channel movie Royal Matchmaker will debut on March 24 at 9 PM, starring Joy Lenz (formerly Bethany Joy Lenz from One Tree Hill) and Will Kemp (Reign).
On March 25, the 7th season premiere of Call the Midwife will air back-to-back episodes on PBS at 8 and 9 PM; while that same night the season finale of Counterpart will air at 8 PM on Starz and Billions will be back also on March 25 for the start of its 3rd season on Showtime at 10 PM.
Also on March 25, the new FX drama Trust will debut at 10 PM. The 10-episode series is set in 1973, centering on the abduction in Italy of John Paul Getty III (relative newcomer Harris Dickinson), then-heir to Getty Oil. Getty Oil. Veteran actor Donald Sutherland will star as J. Paul Getty.
