Let’s take a look at how all of the cable dramas fared during the month of February as well as the made-for-TV movies that aired during the month.

First let’s take a look at how all of the cable dramas performed during the month of February.

CABLE DRAMAS

MONDAYS:

The Alienist – The new TNT period drama aired four more new episodes of its debut season during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:

February 5 – 1.6 million viewers
February 12 – 1.7 million viewers
February 19 – 1.6 million viewers
February 26 – 1.7 million viewers

This averages out to 1.7 million viewers for February. New episodes aired on March 5 and March 12 with the next new episode of The Alienist set to air on TNT on Monday, February 19 at 9 PM.

McMafia – The new AMC drama debuted on February 26, earning 578,000 viewers. New episodes aired on March 5 and March 12 with the next new episode of McMafia set to air on AMC on Monday, March 19 at 9 PM.

Shoot the Messenger – The WGN America drama also debuted on February 24, garnering 173,000 viewers. New episodes aired on March 5 and March 12 with the next new episode of Shoot the Messenger set to air on WGN America on Monday, March 19 at 9 PM.

UnReal – The Lifetime series returned for the start of its third season on February 26, pulling in 252,000 viewers. New episodes aired on March 5 and March 12 with the next new episode of UnReal set to air on Lifetime on Monday, March 19 at 9 PM.

X Company – The Ovation period piece drama debuted on February 19, airing two episodes during the month; but no ratings could be tracked down. New episodes aired on March 5 and March 12 with the next new episode of X Company set to air on Ovation on Monday, March 19 at 9 PM.

TUESDAYS:

The Fosters – The Freeform drama aired three more new episodes from its fifth season during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:

February 6 – 574,000 viewers
February 13 – 521,000 viewers
February 20 – No Episode Aired
February 27 – 542,000 viewers

This averages out to 546,000 viewers for February. A new episode aired on March 6 while the two-hour spring finale of The Fosters aired on Freeform on Tuesday, March 13 at 8 and 9 PM.

The Haves and the Have Nots – The OWN drama aired four more new episodes of its fifth season during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:

February 6 – 2.2 million viewers
February 13 – 2.2 million viewers
February 20 – 2.2 million viewers
February 27 – 2 million viewers

This averages out to 2.2 million viewers for February. A new episode aired on March 6 while the season finale of The Haves and the Have Nots aired on OWN on Tuesday, March 13 at 9 PM.

The Quad – The BET drama aired three more new episodes from its second season during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:

February 6 – 550,000 viewers
February 13 – 669,000 viewers
February 20 – No Episode Aired
February 27 – 469,000 viewers

This averages out to 563,000 viewers for February. New episodes aired on March 6 and March 12 with the next new episode of The Quad set to air on BET on Tuesday, March 20 at 10 PM.

Bellevue – The new WGN America drama aired four more new episodes of its debut season during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:

February 6 – 205,000 viewers
February 13 – 164,000 viewers
February 20 – No Ratings Could Be Tracked Down
February 27 – No Ratings Could Be Tracked Down

This averages out to approximately 185,000 viewers for February. A new episode aired on March 6 while the season finale of Bellevue aired on WGN America on Tuesday, March 13 at 10 PM.

WEDNESDAYS:

The Magicians – The magical-laced Syfy drama aired four more new episodes of its third season during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:

February 7 – 795,000 viewers
February 14 – 674,000 viewers
February 21 – 636,000 viewers
February 28 – 544,000 viewers

This averages out to 662,000 viewers for February. A new episode aired on March 7 with the next new episode of The Magicians set to air on Syfy on Wednesday, March 14 at 9 PM.

If Loving You Is Wrong – The OWN drama aired four more new episodes of its fifth season during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:

February 7 – 1.5 million viewers
February 14 – 1.5 million viewers
February 21 – 1.5 million viewers
February 28 – 1.5 million viewers

This averages out to, of course, 1.5 million viewers for February. The season finale of If Loving You Is Wrong aired on March 7, earning 1.5 million viewers. OWN has yet to renew the show for another season.

Waco – The final 4 episodes of the Paramount Network event series aired during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:

February 7 – 824,000 viewers
February 14 – 780,000 viewers
February 21 – 691,000 viewers
February 28 – 901,000 viewers

This averages out to 799,000 viewers for February.

The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story – Three more episodes of the second season of the limited series FX franchise aired during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:

February 7 – 981,000 viewers
February 14 – 913,000 viewers
February 20 – No Episode Aired
February 27 – 1.1 million viewers

This averages out to 998,000 viewers for February. A new episode aired on March 7 with the next new episode of The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story set to air on FX on Wednesday, March 14 at 10 PM.

THURSDAYS:

Nashville – The final four episodes of the first part of the sixth and final season of the former ABC hit series aired during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:

February 1 – 717,000 viewers
February 8 – 660,000 viewers
February 15 – 711,000 viewers
February 22 – 800,000 viewers (Mid-Season Finale)

This averages out to 722,000 viewers for February. Nashville will be back on CMT for the remainder of its final season on Thursday, June 7 at 9 PM.

Beyond – The Freeform fantasy series aired three more new episodes of its second season during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:

February 1 – 233,000 viewers
February 8 – 246,000 viewers
February 15 – 377,000 viewers
February 22 – No Episode Aired

This averages out to 285,000 viewers for February. New episodes aired on March 1 and March 8 with the next new episode of Beyond set to air on Freeform on Thursday, March 15 at 8 PM.

FRIDAYS:

Strike Back – The Cinemax military drama aired four new episodes of its new season during the month.  The ratings for those episodes are as follows:

February 2 – 135,000 viewers (Season Premiere)
February 9 – No Ratings Could Be Tracked Down
February 16 – 89,000 viewers
February 23 – 138,000 viewers

This averages out to 121,000 viewers for February. New episodes aired on March 2 and March 9 with the next new episode of Strike Back set to air on Cinemax on Thursday, March 16 at 8 PM.

SATURDAYS:

Falling Water – The USA Network series actually returned for the start of its second season on January 6, airing four new episodes during that month. And, it also aired four new episodes during February. The ratings for all of those episodes are as follows:

January 6 – 279,000 viewers (Season Premiere)
January 13 – 413,000 viewers
January 20 – 346,000 viewers
January 27 – 424,000 viewers

February 3 – 433,000 viewers
February 10 – 255,000 viewers
February 17 – 469,000 viewers
February 24 – 197,000 viewers

This averages out to 366,000 viewers for January and 339,000 for February. A new episode aired on March 3 while the season finale of Falling Water set to air on the USA Network on Saturday, March 10 at 10 PM.

SUNDAYS:

The Chi – The new Showtime drama aired three more episodes from its debut season during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:

February 4 – No episode aired
February 11 – 679,000 viewers
February 18 – 693,000 viewers
February 25 – 791,000 viewers

This averages out 721,000 viewers for February. New episodes aired on March 4 and March 11 with the next new episode of The Chi set to air on Showtime on Sunday, March 18 at 10 PM.

Counterpart – The new Starz drama aired three more episodes from its debut season during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:

February 4 – No episode aired
February 11 – 360,000 viewers
February 18 – 416,000 viewers
February 25 – 429,000 viewers

This averages out to 402,000 viewers for February. New episodes aired on March 4 and March 11 with the next new episode of Counterpart set to air on Starz on Sunday, March 18 at 8 PM.

Here And Now – The HBO drama debuted on February 11, airing three episodes during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:

February 11 – 541,000 viewers (DEBUT)
February 18 – 364,000 viewers
February 25 – 385,000 viewers

This averages out to 430,000 viewers for February. New episodes aired on March 4 and March 11 with the next new episode of Here And Now set to air on HBO on Sunday, March 18 at 9 PM.

Homeland – The long-running Showtime drama returned for the start of its 7th season on February 11, airing three episodes during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:

February 11 – 1.2 million viewers (Season Premiere)
February 18 – 1.1 million viewers
February 25 – 1.3 million viewers

This averages out to 1.2 million viewers for February. New episodes aired on March 4 and March 11 with the next new episode of Homeland set to air on Showtime on Sunday, March 18 at 9 PM.

When Calls the Heart – The fifth season of the family favorite series on the Hallmark Channel got underway on February 18, airing two episodes during the month. The ratings for those episodes are as follows:

February 18 – 2.2 million viewers (Season Premiere)
February 25 – 2.2 million viewers

This, of course, averages out to 2.2 million viewers for February. New episodes aired on March 4 and March 11 with the next new episode of When Calls the Heart set to air on the Hallmark Channel on Sunday, March 18 at 9 PM.

The Walking Dead – The mid-season premiere of the AMC zombiefest aired on February 25, earning 8.3 million viewers. New episodes aired on March 4 and March 11 with the next new episodes of The Walking Dead set to air on AMC on Sunday, March 18 at 9 PM.

Victoria – The second season of the period piece drama aired the final episodes during the month, but no ratings could be tracked down for those episodes. A third season of Victoria has yet to be announced by PBS.

Private Eyes – The Canadian series, which is actually in its second season up North, finally debuted here in the States on ION on February 11, airing three episodes during the month; but ratings could not be tracked down for those episodes. New episodes aired on March 4 and March 11 with the next new episode of Private Eyes set to air on ION on Sunday, March 18 at 9 PM.

MADE-FOR-TV MOVIES AND MINI-SERIES

There were less than a dozen made-for-TV movies airing during February. Here are the ratings that could be tracked down for most of those movies:

My Secret Valentine (Hallmark Channel) – 3.1 million viewers
Royal Hearts (Hallmark Channel) – 2.6 million viewers
Very, Very Valentine (Hallmark Channel) – 2.4 million viewers
The Wedding March 3 (Hallmark Channel) – 2.1 million viewers
Cooking With Love (Hallmark Channel) – 1.8 million viewers
Signed, Sealed, Delivered: The Road Less Traveled (Hallmark Movies & Mysteries) – 1.2 million viewers
The Simone Biles Story (Lifetime) – 1.8 million viewers
Behind the Movement (TV One) – 352,000 viewers

Ratings results for the cable dramas, mini-series and made-for-TV movies that have and will air in March that can be tracked down will be provided as soon as possible in April.

On March 18, the new CBS drama Instinct will debut at 8 PM.

Based on the James Patterson novel, Alan Cumming (The Good Wife) stars as a former CIA operative who is lured back to his old life when the NYPD needs his help to stop a serial killer.

The cast includes Bojana Novakovic (Shameless and Satisfaction), Naveen Andrews (Lost), Daniel Ings (The Crown), Sharon Leal (Supergirl) and Whoopi Goldberg.

On March 17, the Hallmark Channel movie The Sweetest Heart will debut at 9 PM.

Ten years after their long-distance relationship ended, high school sweethearts Maddie and Nate reconnect when Nate, who is now a cardiologist, returns to their hometown to lecture at the hospital. Still hurt from their breakup, cupcake shop owner Maddie tries to avoid him, while keeping her focus on securing funding to expand her shop. With Nate’s persistence, they eventually rekindle their romance as he helps her with the shop, only to be faced one more life-changing decision.

The film stars Julie Gonzalo and Chris McNally.

The Netflix feature film special Benji will debut online on March 16.

A remake of the beloved 1970’s movies, this streaming movie will focus on a dog who comes to the rescue and helps heal a broken family when a boy and his sister stumble into serious danger.

Here is the list of the new programming options to expect on TV this coming week:

On March 12, the second season premiere of Mary Kills People will air at 9 PM on Lifetime.

The following will all air on March 13:
* The 2-hour spring finale of The Fosters will air on Freeform at 8 PM
* The Haves and the Have Nots will air its season finale at 9 PM on OWN
* The season finale of the NBC hit series This Is Us will air at 9 PM
* Bellevue, the new WGN America drama, will air its season finale at 10 PM
* The new ABC drama For the People will debut at 10 PM
* The pilot of the NBC drama Rise will air at 10:01 PM [the show will move to 9 PM starting March 20)

On March 14, the Syfy anthology series Channel Zero: Butcher’s Block will air its season finale at 10 PM.

The season finale of How to Get Away with Murder will air on March 15 at 10 PM on ABC.

On March 16, the Netflix feature film special Benji will debut online today while the Lifetime Movie Network new movie Mistress Hunter will debut at 8 PM.

The Hallmark Channel movie The Sweetest Heart will debut on March 17 at 9 PM. Also, on March 17, the latest Lifetime movie Mommy’s Little Angel will debut at 8 PM.

Lastly, on March 18, the new CBS drama Instinct will debut at 8 PM while the season finale of The Chi will air that same night on Showtime at 10 PM; and the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie Hailey Dean Mystery: 2+2 = 4 Murders is expected to debut at 8 PM.
