It was a very busy night of programming on the major networks last night with all of the Tuesday night dramas airing new episodes, including an early finale of one new drama.

Here is how all of those Tuesday dramas fared in the overall ratings last night:

The new ABC drama Deception will debut at 10:01 PM

When his career is ruined by scandal, superstar magician Cameron Black (Jack Cutmore-Scott from Cooper Barrett’s Guide to Surviving Life and Kingsman: The Secret Service) has only one place to turn to practice his art of deception, influence and illusion – the FBI. Using every trick in the book and inventing new ones, he will help the government catch the world’s most elusive criminals while staging the biggest illusions of his career.

The cast includes Ilfenesh Hadera (Billions), Lenora Crichlow (the U.K. original Being Human), Amaury Nolasco (Prison Break), Justin Chon (The Twilight movie franchise), Laila Robins (Homeland and Murder in the First) and Vinnie Jones (Arrow and Galavant).

On March 10, the Hallmark Channel movie Love, Once and Always should debut at 9 PM.

When Lucy’s childhood sweetheart plans to tear down the Gilded Age estate and replace it with a golf course, Lucy fights to preserve the historic mansion at all costs. As Lucy and Duncan set out to find a compromise, they learn that embracing the past may be the key to protecting the future.

Here is the list of the new programming options to expect on TV this coming week:

On March 6, the season finale of Kevin (Probably) Saves the World will air at 10 PM on ABC.

The Hulu streaming series Hard Sun will debut online on March 7. This pre-apocalyptic crime drama is set in contemporary London, focusing on two mismatched police officers, Charlie Hicks (Jim Sturgess) and Elaine Renko (Agyness Deyn) who, whilst investigating what appears to be the routine death of a hacker in London, stumble upon proof that due to a mysterious cosmic event, the world is facing certain destruction in five years, a fact the powers-that-be would very much like to keep under wraps.

Also on March 7, Life Sentence is the new drama set to debut on The CW at 9 PM. When Stella Abbott (Lucy Hale from Pretty Little Liars) finds out her terminal cancer is cured, she’s going to have to learn to live with all the choices she made when she decided to “live like she was dying”.

The season premiere of Hap & Leonard will air at 10 PM on Sundance on March 7 while that same night the season finale of the OWN drama If Loving You Is Wrong will air at 10 PM.

On March 8, the second season of the Netflix streaming series Marvel’s Jessica Jones will debut online.

The new Crackle streaming series The Oath will debut online on March 8. The series explores a world of gangs made up of those sworn to protect and defend and sheds light on corrupt and secret societies that are nearly impossible to join – only a select few make the cut-but once inside, members will do what they must to protect each other from enemies on the outside and from within their own ranks.

On March 9, the second season of the Amazon streaming series Sneaky Pete will air online while that same night The CW series Dynasty moves to its new night and time tonight at 8 PM

On March 10, the season finale of Falling Water will air on the USA Network at 10 PM.

Also on March 10, the Hallmark Channel movie Love, Once and Always should debut at 9 PM, starring Amanda Schull and Peter Porte.

The second season of The Arrangement and the fourth season The Royals will air on E! on March 11 at 8 and 9 PM respectively while that same night the season finale of Private Eyes is supposedly going to air on ION at 10 PM. Also on March 11, the second season premiere of Timeless will air at 10 PM on NBC.

CASTING NEWS

Actor Denis Leary (Rescue Me) has landed a recurring role on Animal Kingdom where he will play Billy, Deran’s (Jake Weary) drifter dad whom Smurf (Ellen Barkin) kicked out years ago. (The Hollywood Reporter)

Legendary Patti LaBelle will recur on OWN’s Greenleaf as Maxine Patterson, a famous Christian motivational speaker and CEO of a global Christian self-help empire. She is an old friend of Mae (Lynn Whitfield) from college days. (Deadline and The Futon Critic)

New cast members have been added to the second season of the Netflix drama Marvel’s The Punisher. Actor Josh Stewart (Shooter) and actress Floriana Lima (Supergirl) will play – respectively – John Pilgrim, a man whose calm exterior belies a ruthless interior, and Krista Dumont, a smart, compassionate, and driven psychotherapist for military veterans. Actress Mercedes Mason (Fear the Walking Dead) has landed a series regular role in the straight to series crime drama The Rookie that will star Nathan Fillion (Castle). She will play Capt. Zoe Andersen, John Nolan’s (Fillion) confident and irreverent commanding officer. (Deadline)

Actress Dana Delany (Body of Proof and China Beach) will guest star in an upcoming episode of Bull, playing AUSA (Assistant United States Attorney) Banner, a federal prosecutor who is bound and determined to imprison a young mother/physician who illegally purchased thousands of vials of marijuana-derived CBD oil to treat her patients in Virginia, where the oil is illegal. Breakout actress Kelly Marie Tran (Star Wars: The Last Jedi) has landed a role alongside Elizabeth Olson (the Avengers franchise) in the Facebook watch series Sorry for Your Loss, a dark comedy that will explore the life of young widow Leigh Gibbs (Olsen) as she deals with the grief of losing her husband while reconnecting with relationships of her past. Tran will star as Jules, Leigh’s younger sister. (Variety)

Actor Brett Tucker (Mistresses) has landed a multi-episode arc in the upcoming ABC Grey’s Anatomy spin-off Station 19 that will follow a group of heroic firefighters. Tucker will play a character named Ripley, but no other character details have been revealed. (Deadline)

Actress Elena Kampouris (Before I Fall and My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2) and actors Kevin Carroll (The Leftovers) and Ryan Robbins (Sanctuary) have been cast in lead roles in the half-hour drama Sacred Lies (the working title), a 10-episode series based on the classic Grimm Brothers tale The Handless Maiden and Stephanie Oakes’ novel The Sacred Lies of Minnow Bly. The series is about a handless teen who escapes from a cult and finds herself in juvenile detention, suspected of knowing who killed her cult leader. Kampouris will play Minnow Bly, the lead character. Carroll will portray Dr. Wilson, Minnow’s mental health coordinator. And, Robbins will play Samuel Bly, Minnow’s father. (Deadline)

RENEWAL NEWS

The Magicians have been renewed for a fourth season by Syfy. (Variety)

MOVIE CASTING NEWS

Actress Gemma Chan (Humans) will star alongside Brie Larson in the latest Marvel superhero movie Captain Marvel. Chan will play, Minn-Erva (aka Doctor Minerva) a Kree geneticist and spy. (Deadline)
