The PBS original telefilm Man in an Orange Shirt will debut on June 17 at 9 PM.
Based on the best-selling novel by Patrick Gale, Vanessa Redgrave stars in the telefilm that follows two love stories, 60 years apart, charting the changes and challenges in gay lives in England – from the era of jail terms to the onset of dating apps.
The cast includes Oliver Jackson-Cohen (Emerald City), Julian Morris (Pretty Little Liars), David Gyasi (Containment), Joanna Vanderham (The Paradise), Angel Coulby (Merlin and Dancing on the Edge), Julian Sands (24), Laura Carmichael (Downton Abbey) and James McArdle (’71).
