Here is the list, short though it is, of the programming options to expect on TV this coming week:

On July 6, the second season of Anne with an E will air on Netflix while that night the 2-part series finale of 12 Monkeys will air on Syfy at 9 and 10 PM [check your local listings for exact airtimes].

And, on July 8 the series premiere of Sharp Objects will air on HBO at 9 PM. Based on the book by New York Times bestselling author Gillian Flynn, this 8-episode series tells the story of reporter Camille Preaker (Amy Adams) who returns to her small hometown to cover the murders of two preteen girls. Trying to put together a psychological puzzle from her past, she finds herself identifying with the young victims a bit too closely.
