Day Two of Comic Con 2018 has come to a close a few hours ago in San Diego, and while there are plenty of parties still underway – that will be happening into the wee hours of the morning – here is a rundown of just SOME of the cool things that took place today at the annual fete.

The Walking Dead (AMC)
Castle Rock (Hulu)
The psychological-horror anthology series from J.J. Abrams and Stephen King combines the mythological scale and intimate character storytelling of King’s best-loved works, weaving an epic saga of darkness and light, played out on a few square miles of Maine woodland.
Star Trek: Discovery (CBS All Access)
The “Star Trek” universe is expanding. Star Trek: Discovery Co-Creator and Executive Producer Alex Kurtzman announced the upcoming launch of a four-part miniseries titled Star Trek: Short Treks this fall. Rolling out on CBS All Access on a monthly basis, each of the four “Short Treks” episodes will be approximately 10-15 minutes long, and will dig deeper into specific characters and themes explored on Star Trek: Discovery. When a young girl, Amy Bellafonte (Saniyya Sidney from Fences and Hidden Figures) is chosen to be a test subject, Federal Agent Brad Wolgast (Mark-Paul Gosselaar from Pitch) is the man who is tasked with bringing her to Project Noah. Ultimately, however, Wolgast becomes her surrogate father, as he tries to protect her at any cost.

THE ROZ REPORT
Here is what Roz had to report about what happened to her or what she witnessed today at Comic Con 2018 Day Two:
It was a fun day of awkward stories that finally got to some of the Hollywood double standards at the EW’s Brave Warriors panel, especially when Tom Ellis revealed a less than ideal situation in a sex scene.
Here is the picture Roz took at that panel:
Biggest highlight, though, was running into someone from the show that started me coming to Comic Con! Francis Capra, Weevil, is always a treat to see!
More coming soon…
