God Bless the Broken Road

Amber Hill’s (Lindsay Pulsipher from True Blood) ideal life is shattered when she loses her husband to the war in Afghanistan. Two years later, she finds herself in a struggle to save her home while providing for her 9-year-old daughter, Bree. When up-and-coming race car driver Cody Jackson rolls into town, Amber and Bree become wrapped up in his pedal to the metal way of life. With her faith hanging in the balance, Amber is forced to decide between the broken road she knows so well or trusting in a new path that God has provided. The thriller centers on three small-town characters: a mom blogger (Anna Kendrick), her best friend (Blake Lively) who disappears suddenly and the latter’s husband (Henry Golding). The story includes betrayals and reversals, a dead body and the revolving question of who is duping whom. The cast includes Linda Cardellini (Freaks and Geeks and Avengers: Age of Ultron), Eric Johnson (Rookie Blue and Fifty Shades franchise), Jean Smart (Legion and Designing Women), Rupert Friend (Homeland and Strange Angel) and Andrew Rannells (Girls and The New Normal).
Armed
Opens: September 14
Chief (Mario Van Peebles), a former U.S. Marshal, has fallen on hard times after leading undercover agents in a raid gone horribly wrong. When his old team member Jonesie (Ryan Guzman from Heroes Reborn and 9-1-1) visits, Chief finds himself caught up in a plot that he could not have imagined. The cast includes William Fichtner (Prison Break), Columbus Short (Scandal), Laz Alonso (Breakout Kings and The Mysteries of Laura) and veteran singer Dionne Warwick.
The Children Act
Opens: September 14
High Court judge, The Honorable Mrs. Justice Maye (Emma Thompson) is asked to rule in the case of a minor whose parents are refusing to allow their child to undergo a life-saving blood transfusion for religious reasons. The film also stars Stanley Tucci (Hunger Games franchise and Easy A), Fionn Whitehead (Dunkirk) and Ben Chaplin (Cinderella and World Without End).
Unbroken: Path to Redemption
Opens: September 14
Based on the Laura Hillenbrand bestselling book, the film begins where the hit movie Unbroken concluded, sharing the next amazing chapter of the unbelievable true story of Olympian and World War II Louis Zamperini (Samuel Hunt from Chicago Fire/Chicago PD). Haunted by nightmares of his torment, Louie sees himself as anything but a hero. Then, he meets Cynthia Applewhite (Merritt Patterson from Ravenswood and The Royals), a young woman who captures his eye and his heart. Louie’s wrathful quest for revenge drives him deeper into despair, putting the couple on the brink of divorce. Colette
Opens: September 21
Set at the dawn of the modern age, the film focus on Gabrielle Sidonie Colette (Keira Knightley), a young woman from a country village, who marries charismatic dominating Parisian Henry “Willy” Gauthier-Villars (Dominic West from The Affair), fourteen years her senior. Through her husband she is introduced to bohemian Paris where her creative appetite is sparked. Ever quick to capitalize on talent, Willy convinces his wife to write novels – to be published under his name. The phenomenal success of her “Claudine” series makes Willy well known as a writer and ‘Colette and Willy’ the first modern celebrity couple. Over time, lack of recognition for her work frustrates Colette, and an affair with the gender-defying Mathilde de Morny, Marquise de Belbeuf inspires her to break free, but Willy is determined to maintain his hold over her, at any cost. Life Itself

The film covers the different generations of people in New York and Spain and how they intertwine. The film stars Oscar Isaac (X-Men: Days of Future Past and Stars Wars), Olivia Wilde (Tron: Legacy), Mandy Patinkin (Homeland), Olivia Cooke (Ready Player One and Bates Motel), Annette Bening (Being Julia) and Antonio Banderas (Genius: Picasso and Zorro franchise) [among others.
The House With a Clock In Its Walls
Opens: September 21
Ten-year-old Lewis goes to live with his uncle in a creaky old house that contains a mysterious tick tock noise. When Lewis accidentally awakens the dead, the town’s sleepy facade magically springs to life with a secret world of witches and warlocks. The cast includes Jack Black (The School of Rock), Cate Blanchett (Thor Ragnarok and Cinderella), Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks) and Renee Elise Goldsberry (Altered Carbon and the Broadway hit Hamilton).
Little Women
Opens: September 28
A modern retelling of the classic novel by Louisa May Alcott, the film will follow the lives of four sisters – Meg (Melanie Stone), Jo (Sarah Davenport), Beth (Allie Jennings), and Amy (Taylor Murphy) March – detailing their passage from childhood to womanhood. Despite harsh times, they cling to optimism, and as they mature, they face blossoming ambitions and relationships, as well as tragedy, while maintaining their unbreakable bond as sisters. The film also stars Lucas Grabeel and Lea Thompson (both from Switched at Birth) and Ian Bohen (Teen Wolf and Yellowstone).
Smallfoot
Opens: September 28
This animated film plays a twist on legends with Migo (voice by Channing Tatum), a Yeti who is convinced that the elusive creatures known as “Smallfoot” (humans) really do exist. Other voices will be provided by late night host James Corden, Zendaya (The Greatest Showman), Common (Hell on Wheels and the box office film Selma0, basketball star LeBron James, Gina Rodriguez (Jane the Virgin), Danny DeVito (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) and Yara Shahidi (Black-ish and Grown-ish).
