Here is the long list of the programming options – mostly holiday movies – to expect on TV this coming week:

On November 28, the season premiere of Vikings will air on the History Channel at 9 PM.

The third season premiere of Berlin Station will premiere on EPIX on December 2 at 9 PM.

On December 2, the series premiere of Nightflyers will air on Syfy at 10 PM. Based on the novella by George R.R. Martin and set in the year 2093, the series follows a team of scientists aboard The Nightflyer, the most advanced ship ever built, as they embark on a journey to find other life forms. Their mission takes them to the edge of the solar system, and to the edge of insanity, as they realize true horror isn’t waiting for them in outer space – it’s already on their ship.

NOTE: Episodes one through five will air consecutively from December 2 through December 6 while episodes six through ten set to air consecutively from December 9 through December 13.

The following holiday movies will debut throughout this week:

On November 30, A Very Nutty Christmas on Lifetime at 8 PM, starring Melissa Joan Hart, Barry Watson, Marissa Winokur, Conchata Ferrell and Rizwan Manji.

On November 30, A Christmas Prince: Royal Wedding on Netflix, starring Rose McIver and Ben Lamb, reprising their roles.

On December 1, Mingle All the Way on the Hallmark Channel at 8 PM, starring Jen Lilley, Brant Daugherty and Lindsay Wagner.

On December 1, A Twist of Christmas on Lifetime at 8 PM, starring Vanessa Lachey, Brendon Zub, Sarah Smyth and Rick Fox.

On December 2, The Christmas Pact on Lifetime at 8 PM, starring Kyla Pratt, Jarod Joseph, Jasmine Guy and Kadeem Hardison.

On December 2, A Majestic Christmas on the Hallmark Channel at 8 PM, starring Jerrika Hinton and Christian Vincent.

On December 2, A Wedding for Christmas on ION at 9 PM, starring Cristine Prosperi, Vivica A. Fox, Natalie Mauro and Colton Little.

On December 2, Life-Size 2 on Freeform at 9 PM, starring Francia Raisa, Tyra Banks and Alison Fernandez.

RENEWALS/CANCELLATIONS

Mr. Mercedes has been given a third season renewal at Audience Network (DirecTV). (Variety)

Take Two has been cancelled by ABC. (TV Line)

Salvation has been cancelled by CBS after two seasons. (Variety)

CASTING NEWS

Actor Jaime Camil (Jane the Virgin) will guest star in an upcoming episode of Charmed, playing Mr. Morales, the brash and eccentric new Music Director of Hilltowne University’s acapella group. It should be noted that Jane the Virgin star Gina Rodriguez will be directing that episode too. (TV Line and Entertainment Weekly)

Actress Andie MacDowell will guest star in the Hulu limited series Four Weddings and a Funeral, the small screen adaptation of the rom-com. Meanwhile, actress Nathalie Emmanuel (Game of Thrones) will replace original cast member Jessica Williams. The series revolves around four American friends Maya (Emmanuel), Craig (Brandon Mychal Smith), Ainsley (Rebecca Rittenhouse) and Duffy (John Reynolds), who reunite for a fabulous London wedding. But after a bombshell at the altar throws their lives into turmoil, they must weather a tumultuous year of romance and heartbreak. Relationships are forged and broken, political scandals exposed, London social life lampooned, love affairs ignited and doused, and of course, there are four weddings and a funeral. MacDowell will play Mrs. Howard, Ainsley’s mother. (Deadline)

Actresses Jocelyn Hudon (The Strain) and Morgan Kohan (Star Trek: Discovery and The Murdoch Mysteries) will appear in the upcoming When Calls the Heart Christmas movie special next month. They will be playing Grace and Lillian (respectively), who are caretakers for traveling orphans who end up in Hope Valley. Both Jocelyn and Morgan will in the spin-off series When Hope Calls, which is currently in development and scheduled to premiere on Hallmark Movies Now in 2019. (Entertainment Tonight)

MOVIE NEWS

Veteran actress Julie Andrews (Mary Poppins and The Sound of Music) will provide her voice to the upcoming box office film Aquaman. She will voice Karathen, a character described as a sea creature who can help assist Aquaman’s quest to broker a peace between Atlantis and the surface world. (Deadline)
