As we edge closer to the holiday season and the end of prime-time programming for 2018, more fall/winter finales are airing on the major networks; a handful of which aired last night.

Here is how those Tuesday night dramas fared in the overall ratings:

On December 15, the Hallmark Channel holiday movie Entertaining Christmas will debut at 8 PM.

Claire is a cookbook author, crafting expert, and television personality whose name is synonymous with perfection. As she contemplates retirement, her daughter Candace (Jodie Sweetin) is poised to become the new face of the Livingston brand. The only trouble is, Kara can’t cook. Or sew. Or do any of the signature things for which her mother is known.

When a young girl posts a video online requesting Claire help welcome her deployed father (Brendan Fehr) home for Christmas, Candace is sent in her place in an effort to prove herself a worthy successor to the board of directors and win the job. As Candace does her best to make a good impression, she gets more than she bargained for.

The Lifetime holiday movie Christmas Pen Pals will debut on December 15 at 8 PM.

Following an unexpected breakup weeks before Christmas, Hannah (Sarah Drew), tech wiz and creator of the dating app, Perfect One, heads home for the holidays, challenged to save her failing business by re-conceiving a new romantic dating model. Upon her return she runs into her high school boyfriend, Sam (Niall Matter) who she has carefully avoided for years and reluctantly makes a deal with her dad, Ted (Michael Gross) to sign up for the town’s Christmas Cupid, an anonymous holiday pen pal service.

As the season progresses, Hannah is smitten by each beautifully written letter she receives and starts to believe that her Christmas pen pal could be her soul mate. It’s not until Christmas Eve that everyone must reveal their true identities to their pen pals, even if it means coming face to face with the last person they ever expected.

Country Christmas Album is the latest ION holiday movie to debut on December 15 at 9 PM.

After country music starlet Tess Stapleton’s (Hannah Barefoot) album sales keep dropping, her label forces her to record a Christmas album with ex-teen heartthrob and pop-star, Derek Copeland (Evan Gamble), in an attempt to resurrect each’s career. Reluctantly, Tess agrees. At first, they appear to be polar opposites; clashing over song styles and irritated that they were forced together.

However, to their combined surprise, as the album shapes up, they find themselves growing closer over their shared love of music. As they finish the album sparks begin to fly and love blooms just in time for Christmas.

On December 15, Northern Lights of Christmas is the latest holiday movie to debut on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries at 9 PM.

When pilot Zoey Hathaway (Ashley Williams) inherits her uncle’s ranch in Alaska, plans to sell the place and buy her own plane go out the window after she meets the handsome ranch hand, Alec Wynn (Corey Sevier), along with the place’s resident reindeer, Holly and Palmer.

The film also stars Genelle Williams.

The holiday special Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: A Midwinter’s Tale will debut on Netflix on December 14.

Set during the Church of Night’s celebration of the winter solstice, the longest night of the year, when families gather around the Yule fire to sing pagan carols and tell ghost stories. The holidays are also a time for guests and visitors — both welcome and unwelcome — and you never know who’ll drop down the chimney.

Kiernan Shipka, Miranda Otto, Lucy Davis, Ross Lynch, Michelle Gomez, Chance Perdomo, Jaz Sinclair, Tati Gabrielle, Adeline Rudolph, Abigail Cowen and Lachlan Watson are all set to appear.
