On January 25, the 8-episode BBC limited series Black Earth Rising will debut on Netflix.
The series centers on a woman named Kate Ashby (Black Mirror alum Michaela Coel), who remembers very little of her childhood before she was rescued from Rwandan genocide by an international human rights attorney named Eve (Harriet Walter). The only things she knows for certain is that she bears the physical and emotional scars of torment.
The cast includes John Goodman.
